On the night of August 12th. Two weary travellers from a foreign land naively wandered into what they thought was a kebab shop...instead what they experienced was that from tales of old...an idea, a dream...You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish... it was so fragile.
Our host, an artist, only a small smile registering his acknowledgement of our order of a chicken wrap with chips...he knew the journey in which we were to embark. A familiar tune fluttered to our right, we looked up, Gladiator (2000) had begun to play on the screen. These kebabs were no longer to take away.
As Maximus uttered the words 'Elysium' our food arrived...we too were soon to find ourselves alone riding in green fields with the sun on our faces. The food, equsite. To attempt to describe with words of my crude language would mar it's true beauty.

Read moreI stumbled across this pizza and kebab shop by chance as it was close to where I stayed and honestly-it was awesome. Open til late. Even better. I had the pizza a couple of times and ask the owner about the dough. He makes it him self which I admire. He has it dialled in.
What really made the experience stand out was the owner. Kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the food being served. You don't always find heart in takeaway shops these days, but you can feel it here-from the first bite to the last word at the counter.

Read moreReally great people and pizza. We are visiting Oslo from England and we struggled with the Norwegian menu. The guy behind the counter was great and helped us out. Gave us wifi and shown us how to translate by taking a pic on Google. Then while we were waiting for the food we had a great chat about the uk and he gave us some advice on where to go round oslo. Got back and had the pizza and it was really tasty, nice and hot. Only reason its not 5/5 is the price, but ultimately thats probably a Oslo problem not this restaurants. Can't...
