The waiter staff were all very friendly and serviceminded. I have absolutely no complaints about the staff--there are minor details that make me give only 4 stars. First off the wines were very priced up and even though the food looked amazing and tasted great I felt like it was a little overpriced. Other than that the kitchen staff seem to know exactly what they are doing--both out steaks were cooked exactly like we asked. We went here after reading reviews...and my partner wanted to try the whale steak. He wished it had been a bit more cooked but that's personal preference (and he had no idea how it 'should' be cooked). It was quite bloody in the middle with cooked edges and he thought it tasted a bit 'chewy'. I had the mushroom risotto which I didn't love. I've been here twice now, and both times the food and atmosphere was perfect. The steak was prepared perfectly and for the first time in my life I actually loved all the vegetable sides as well. Clean plate!

The server there had to work alone that day, serving about 20 people efficiently with a smile. She did great!

This is for sure my new go to place for a cozy restaurant meal.

I would love for the steak knives to be a little sharper though but that's the only negative I can think of.
