Bright & Colourful Restaurant with good vibes
D'Arcy's Kitchen Shatti is located in Qurum next to the beach within a conclave of other restaurants in the area. It dominates a large space with an outside terrace for the brave in the summer.
Internal, it is nicely decorated with lovely bright vibrant colours that show its potential as a kitchen restaurant. With 3 different seating arrangements, outside terrace, inside and inside but within the shopping centre part, a little something for everyone.
Menu, is pretty diverse with a selection of international dishes to choose from with the most popular being the breakfast menus.
Food, we went a couple of times to have different opinions, for breakfast, lunch and supper and were generally happy with all times. The breakfast is plentiful with any option you want, you can mix and change to suit your own requirements, so we thoroughly enjoyed the scrambled eggs. The quiche was pretty good too, offering home cooked products is always a favourite for us.
Supper time we had fish and chips and the chicken breast, the fish was really cutlets and not a whole fish as you would get in fish and chips a little dry for my liking, and the chips were very thick and slightly soggy. However the chicken was delicious and really succulent. The sandwiches are really good with generous food portions.
Drinks, are plentiful and they offer a wide selection of teas, coffee, and soft drinks.
Prices, are a little higher in comparison with other like for like places to eat but worth the visit.
Staff, are very friendly and help out including offering selected frequent visitors extras from the menu to try.
In summary Darcy´s Kitchen is a popular place with locals and expats enjoying the atmosphere, food and chitchat.
Recommendation Recommended to try and see what you think of the food and service in general, we enjoyed the eating experience and service was really good with friendly staff.

We tried a few dishes and loved every bite. The veggie burger was hearty and well-balanced, with a thick, flavourful patty layered between fresh greens, cheese, and a hint of herby sauce that added a refreshing twist. The fish and chips were beautifully done — crispy golden coating, thick-cut fries, and a fresh salad that wasn’t just an afterthought. And the star of the show? The apple crumble with warm custard — absolute comfort food heaven. The crumb topping was buttery and perfect, with soft baked fruit and velvety custard tying it all together.
The service was friendly, and everything came out quickly and beautifully plated. It’s rare to find a place where both the savoury and sweet options shine equally, but Darcy’s nails it.
Highly recommend for a relaxed evening or weekend treat. Can’t wait...
