Vasanta Bhavan — Restaurant in Muscat

I've been here 3 times recently The first time, the Food wasn't THAT great it was mediocre But by each visit it got better and by the Last visit it was really great. The Ghee roast I offered for example wasnt the usual ghee filled paper like chips Dosa that isnt my cup of tea. It was crispy as well as just enough thick to absorb the chutneys really well.

Food is a solid 8.9/10

The thing that stands out is their service, great service always encourages us to go to that restaurant again and this restaurant has the best service and care for their customer 11/10.

Restaurants like Saravana Bhavan and Kammat are absurdly pricey for the middle class and for what they actually offer. Vasanta Bhavan is the best overall choice you got in Muscat for good Veg South Indian...

Standard Vasanta Bhavan; used to have a menu which was priced on the higher side but of late the 1 omr offer introduced is attracting good number of people, the food is typically South Indian vegetarian and Chinese (Indian) cuisine , the portions are adequate and the taste of food is fairly good, the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant also has sweets and fresh juices available in its menu, the parking is bit inconvenient at times and the location can be easily reached if you’re following google maps otherwise it’s a bit confusing to reach.
