I gave this 5 stars but my rating may be biased so please hear me out. I have been visiting CTC every single time that i go to lahore from islamabad and it has NEVER disappointed me. I usually have breakfast (specifically pancakes, american and the waffles one whose name I can't recall) at CTC. It is always amazing and certainly the chefs here are very talented. Their steaks are cooked to just the right amount without getting rid of the juicy-ness of the chicken steak. The prices are on the high side so only visit if you can spend a lot. When one comes to the coffee, I can safely say that it is better than Gloria Jeans slightly but even if you don't agree with me, you will agree that the coffees are comparable to any great coffee joint in lahore. I usually have the coffee before starting my journey to islamabad and it is very strong. Enough to make my senses crisp and focused on the whole drive from lhr to isd without even stopping once. I would, personally, prefer this for tea or breakfast over any other cafe in lahore. However, for those who are looking for filling dishes for a moderate price, this is not the place for you. It offers a wide variety in the menu, most of which is exquisite but not particularly filling. Alas, there is one big issue that is the speed of the order. That is pretty dismal as it takes almost an hour before you get your entree prepared and even more time to pay the bill. Our concern arises from the unhygienic practice observed during the preparation of our dessert. The waiter, while putting the ice cream using a scooper, was using his thumb as a support, and unfortunately, it was touching the ice cream directly. We found this practice to be extremely unhygienic and a violation of basic food safety standards.

Despite bringing this to the attention of the staff on two occasions, regrettably, no one addressed our concerns, and there was no attempt to replace the compromised ice cream. This lack of response was not only disappointing but also raises serious questions about the ethical and professional standards maintained at your establishment.
