Ox & Grill Steak House — Local services in Lahore Cantonment Tehsil

I’m a regular customer of this fine establishment. I go there at least 3-4 times a month, almost always with friends. After today’s experience, I’ve vowed never to go there again.

And here’s why:

The plates set on the table were dirty. Food was sticking in them. Obviously not only not washed properly, nobody bothered to check them either.

I ordered soup for starter. The paltry garlic bread they usually serve when you arrive? Wasn’t served. I asked for it. And it took them a while to bring the bread basket.

My main course was a sandwich today. The server served the sandwich while my soup bowl was still half full. And since I was alone today, the restaurant provided me with guests - flies. One sat on my water glass. They removed the glass after I complained. I don’t know if one of you got that glass. The fly kept returning. At one point there were two. And despite multiple complaints, the maitre d’, an utterly unprofessional and unserious fellow, did nothing to fix it.

I asked them to pack my meal as I didn’t want to risk the fly sitting on it. Which they did. After removing the fries. Who got those cold stale fries? I can’t say. I know I didn’t.

I also ordered fresh lime with sprite. They added so much lemon to it, it was impossible to drink. So I left that on the table as well.

Overall, the experience was beyond abysmal. And the restaurant graciously charged me full for everything despite the wasted water, lost fries, multiple flies ruining my lunch and mood…

Definitely not recommended anymore.

The manager/head waiter between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm needs training....

During my previous visits, I found the steaks to be decent but not outstanding. However, this time around, a friend recommended Stuffed Steak, and I decided to try it. It was a beef steak artfully filled with a delicious combination of spinach, and cheese, accompanied by a side of mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables, topped with mushroom sauce.

The steak was cooked to perfection, just as the staff at Ox and Grill had recommended: medium well. It had a succulent and juicy texture that blended seamlessly with the rich and creamy stuffing. The combination of tender beef, earthy mushrooms, vibrant spinach, and melted cheese created a heavenly symphony of tastes.

I can confidently say that the Stuffed Steak at Ox and Grill is a must-try for all steak lovers. The blend of flavors, the tender meat, and the perfect cooking technique combine to create an unforgettable dining experience.

Amazing restaurant in gulberg with great continental food, service and great vibe ! Great for groups and they take reservations also for late hours. I went there for the first time with friends recommended by islamabadi burger friend and the decision was so good with the great food ! Tasted very fresh fish chosen and cooked very freshly in tgeir resturant. Awsome service to be able to choose your own platter and it’s cooking at your liking (staff will help you depending on what you like !) great choice of drinks as well!

Every dish taste amazing and staff will do the service for you so very helpful for sharing ! My favorite dishes were grilled chicken, salads, beef steak and cocktails.
