Novu pan Asian cuisine — Restaurant in Lahore Cantonment Tehsil

I'm ready to be hated for this. But the food was awful. For context, we have been eating chinese/thai/pan asian cuisines for the last 3 years from high-end, fine dine restaurants as well

I tried Novu in July 2024 for the first time and the food had so much smell, that we had to ask the staff to change it completely but the new food was not different at all.

Adding to this, the staff was super cooperative BUT theres were few things happened that made us question their experience. For example, we ordered Seasonal Drink Without sugar (we specifically mentioned not to add anything sweet) but here comes the Juice with fully added sugar.

We politely asked him to replace this. The manager did that BUT the juice that came again was just water. It was literally just water. Unfortunately, at this point we were so pissed but we kept our cool and asked the manager politely to please try this juice because it's not a juice at all.

Anyways he replaced it. Kudos to him.

I would like to mention a few things here. We were very respectful in our communication with the staff. The restaurant was empty. Only one table was occupied apart from us.

I recently visited Novu and found the overall experience to be average. The food was decent but not particularly memorable — flavors felt somewhat muted, and nothing on the menu really stood out as exceptional. The atmosphere was also fairly standard; it wasn’t unpleasant, but it didn’t create a strong impression or add much to the dining experience.

What did stand out in a positive way was the service. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and consistently professional throughout the meal. Their friendliness and efficiency elevated the experience and made the visit more enjoyable.

Overall, Novu is a solid option if you’re looking for an adequate meal with great service, but there is room for improvement when it comes to both the food...
