I recently celebrated my birthday at Ziafat and had a mostly positive experience. Booking the place a few days in advance was smooth and easy. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I asked a middle-aged man at the reception to put my son's birthday cake in the fridge. However, he left it on the desk, and when I asked why, he rudely said the freezer was full. This was disappointing, especially since we had booked for a birthday celebration. Fortunately, Abdul Qadir, who seemed to be managing things, stepped in. He found space for the cake in the freezer and went above and beyond to make our day special. His dedication and effort, along with the rest of the staff, truly changed my mind about the experience.
The food at Ziafat was amazing. Everything I tried from the buffet was delicious. However, the atmosphere was less enjoyable once the electricity switched to the generator, making the place quite heated. Despite this, Abdul Qadir's exceptional service stood out and made our celebration memorable.
My suggestion for Ziafat is to have more staff members like Abdul Qadir, who seems to work on billing. His professionalism and attentiveness made a significant difference in our experience. Read moreZiafat is among the pioneers of restaurants which offered buffet In Lahore. At some time in past it was ranked in top ten buffet restaurants in the town. But gradually many more food restaurants took entry in the market and offered variety of foods.
However still it is considered better but I don't classify it among top food taste restaurants. It offers desi, continental and limited variety of chinese food.
Ziafat restaurant changed it's location many times, presently it is located at 27 H college road, Gulberg II, Lahore. It offers you a variety of food in lunch, dinner buffet and hi tea from salads to snacks to desi like paye, palak, paratha, halwa pur, bbq, sweets, gol gappas, daal to veggies. Well the soup and desi dishes are between good and OK.. salads are also ok but the live BBQ part should be tried specially the chicken kababs and halwa puri and in sweet dishes I like gajjrella the most which gives the taste of Khoya aaammm yummy. Ambiance is good staff is also trained but they need more professional training to deal which the different classes of customers.
Overall is good but not very good place to fill...
