Overall Experience:
Our experience was extremely disappointing. My family and I initially went to try Brim Burgers, but due to a long queue from a deal they were offering, we decided to head to Cavern instead, assuming we’d be served more promptly since it wasn’t crowded. In hindsight, we should have waited at Brim — at least the food might’ve been worth it. When we expressed our dissatisfaction and asked to speak with the manager or owner, the server casually told us we could leave if we didn’t like it. Even after insisting, the owner eventually responded and remarked, “You could’ve ordered something else.” If you're not confident in certain items, perhaps they shouldn't be on the menu — especially when the server recommended them.
Food:
The food took 42 minutes to arrive, even though the server initially said it would take 15–20 minutes. It came out cold, the fries looked like they had been refried and there were only ten pieces. When we complained, they took the food and simply reheated it — imagine reheating meat and fries in an oven. Unsurprisingly, the taste was terrible. After a single bite of each dish, we left the food untouched.
Service:
The service was painfully slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty. There seemed to be no regard for hygiene — the kitchen staff wore the same gloves while preparing food, using phones, and even working on the computer. It made the use of gloves seem pointless.
Ambiance:
While the place looked nice, the temperature inside was uncomfortably low, especially with kids. Even after requesting the staff to adjust it, nothing improved, and it remained unpleasant...
Read moreEven though the chef left carnivore and opened his own restaurant, it seems he left the flavor at carnivore too.
The burger was literally a more expensive version of brim burgers, which is a floor below. Could had gotten a double patty from brim burgers.
When you're paying a premium for burgers you should get premium.
The fries were so less, even though on other reviews I can see more fries were given. We even told the waiter before hand make sure the fries aren't less. He goes ahead without telling us charges us for for extra fries. The extra fires come in a very small bowl (barely enough for one medium sized potato). Now the waiter doesnt even know price for the fries, he's like it's for 400-500.
We returned the fries. Like paying 400-500 for about 10-15 pieces for fries is definitely not worth it.
The sides and sauces aren't even enough for the meal. You get one spoon of coleslaw and about one squirt of 2 sauces.
I asked for more sauce and they charge you 100 for a squirt of sauce, which the waiter did not informed us off.
Also they claim their rates are cheaper than carnivore which doesn't make a difference if your cuts are bigger and don't have the flavor.
They need to improve: Customer service Taste of their food Give portion size according to their charges
Like give a standard size of fries in the reviews you'll see different amount for fries for the same meal, fill up the sauce cups, maybe add more than a spoon...
Read moreThe experience was unfortunately disappointing. The food itself was average, with portion sizes on the smaller side. For example, the burger felt undersized for the price (1,400) and was served with just a few bites of mac n cheese. I did not try their baked meat so cannot comment on that. The ambiance had potential, but the choice of music did not match the atmosphere the restaurant seemed to be aiming for.
What stood out more, however, were the service issues. My order was mixed up twice, first, I received regular bread instead of garlic bread (which also had a hair in it and I had it replaced), and I was served a chicken burger instead of the beef burger I had requested. While I understand that mistakes can happen, what concerned me was the lack of follow-up. When I pointed out the burger mistake, the waiter mentioned he would look into it but did not return, and at billing, the issue was dismissed with slight acknowledgment.
The staff were generally polite and courteous, but the handling of these errors left a poor impression. Given the repeated mistakes and the absence of effort to address them, the overall experience fell short of...
