I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yeristanbul Restaurant in Islamabad, and I must say that the experience was nothing short of delightful. Nestled in the heart of the city, this restaurant offers a unique and captivating blend of Turkish cuisine and ambiance, making it a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and culture seekers alike.

Ambiance: Upon stepping into Yeristanbul, I was immediately transported to the vibrant streets of Istanbul. The decor was tastefully done, with ornate Turkish motifs adorning the walls, beautiful Turkish lanterns casting a warm glow, and traditional Turkish music playing softly in the background. The seating arrangement was comfortable, offering a mix of cozy booths and tables, perfect for intimate gatherings or larger parties.

Service: The service at Yeristanbul was exceptional. The staff members were courteous, attentive, and well-versed in explaining the dishes on the menu. They were eager to offer recommendations based on individual preferences and dietary restrictions, making the dining experience feel personalized and welcoming.

Cuisine: Now, onto the highlight of the evening – the food! The menu featured a wide array of authentic Turkish dishes, each prepared with fresh and high-quality ingredients. I started with there classic Turkish lentil soup, which included a delectable assortment of hummus. The flavors were robust and perfectly complemented by warm pita bread.

For the main course, I opted for there platter which included traditional Iskender kebab, and it did not disappoint. The succulent pieces of meat were tender and marinated to perfection, accompanied by a rich tomato sauce and a side of buttery rice. It was a mouthwatering combination that left me craving for more.

Desserts: No Turkish meal is complete without indulging in their heavenly desserts. I savored the kunafa. The sweetness was balanced just right, leaving a lingering, satisfying taste.

Price: Considering the quality of the food, the portions, and the overall experience, I found the prices at Yeristanbul to be reasonable. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option, it is well worth the expense for the extraordinary dining journey it provides.

Conclusion: In conclusion, Yeristanbul Restaurant in Islamabad offers a remarkable dining experience that successfully captures the essence of Turkish cuisine and culture. From the delightful ambiance and top-notch service to the mouthwatering dishes that transport your taste buds to Istanbul, this restaurant stands out as an oasis of authentic Turkish gastronomy in the heart of Islamabad. I wholeheartedly recommend Yeristanbul to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, and I'm already looking forward to...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yer Istanbul, a charming restaurant located in Islamabad. As soon as I entered, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance that transported me to the vibrant streets of Istanbul. The decor was a perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional Turkish elements, creating a delightful atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. The menu at Yer Istanbul boasted a wide array of authentic Turkish dishes, and I was thrilled to explore the diverse flavors of this rich culinary tradition. To start my meal, I ordered the classic Meze platter, which was a delightful assortment of small dishes such as hummus, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, and eggplant dip. Each element was expertly prepared, bursting with freshness and distinctive Mediterranean flavors. The Meze platter was a perfect introduction to the richness and depth of Turkish cuisine. For the main course, I opted for the Lamb Shish Kebab, and I must say, it was a true highlight of my dining experience. The succulent pieces of marinated lamb were perfectly grilled to a tender perfection, infused with aromatic spices that danced on my palate. The dish was accompanied by fluffy rice pilaf and a side of grilled vegetables that added a delightful touch of freshness. Every bite was a testament to the skilled craftsmanship of the chefs at Yer Istanbul. To complement my meal, I indulged in a glass of traditional Turkish tea, which was served in elegant tea glasses. The tea had a robust flavor and was a perfect way to cleanse the palate after a satisfying meal. For dessert, I couldn't resist trying the Baklava, a classic Turkish pastry. The layers of flaky phyllo dough, honey, and crushed pistachios created a symphony of textures and flavors that left me craving for more. The service at Yer Istanbul was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were passionate about their cuisine. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had, enhancing my overall dining experience. Last but not the least Yer Istanbul is a hidden gem in Islamabad, offering an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine in a delightful setting. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the impeccable service and outstanding flavors, every aspect of my dining experience exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a fan of Turkish food or looking to embark on a culinary adventure, Yer Istanbul is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts...

It’s a nice place with a good ambiance and the show they put on with the plate on fire and smoke on the tables is enjoyable- but they must work on their food which lacked flavour and taste. Roast meats need marination or at the least a selection of condiments and sauces you can put on them. Garlic butter / bbq/ peppercorn/ hot & sweet sauces for example, lemon wedges, small pots of smoked paprika / pepper etc Give people various flavours to add as they wish.

All they had were very tiny little pots of a tasteless chilli & tomato / mint sauce (only one that was good) served with the hummus & salad starters (both good) which were taken away before the main even though I asked them not to. The mint sauce was the only one that was good but alas despite repeatedly asking they didn’t give it to us.

Out of the kebabs the red meat seekh kebab was the only tasty one, and the chicken stuffed pepper was excellent. The others were mediocre at best, plenty far better out there. Kebabs need major improvement, especially the tikka ones.

If they did what I’m recommending with the roasted meats alone this could become an awesome place with lines out the door. As it is it will be a one hit wonder we won’t return as the roasted meats which are the main thing here are just not tasty enough.

The staff are excellent and very helpful if a bit deaf, given we were spending a fortune it was rude that we never saw the manager once, and nobody was at the door as we left to ask if we were happy with the evening. Very bad.

The Kunafa was almost good, but they’re using the wrong cheese, mozzarella - which gives it a very weird...
