This restaurant had a gutazos offer we bought. We had a family of 4. They gave us two Lebanese Platters which served 2 People each, Each platter had 2 Beef Kibbes, 2 Chicken Sambuseks, Hummus, Falafel , 2 Beef Sfijas, Labne, Pepper Cream, Pita Bread Basket. Oh, and Iced Tea or Sangria
The platters looked too small for 2 people, but wow was it filling and good. My kids enjoyed learning the middle eastern way of eating with your right hand. They even made my daughter a vegetarian kibbe when I told them she was a vegetarian! The iced tea was sweet, strong and good.
The dancer came out at 8:15 she was VERY talented and included people who wanted to dance with her in her performance, which we did.
The dessert was literally amazing. I ordered baklava but they were out and suggested the fruit tart. WOW! Amazing, so glad we tried it. They ended the evening with a pot of hot tea.
Be warned after 9pm it is hard (but not impossible) to get an Uber there. It took 30 min for Uber to find us a driver and another 12 min for him to get there. So schedule the Uber BEFORE. This was literally the...
Read moreI waited until I had 2 meals here before I gave my opinion, since I didnt want to undermine the restaurant based on a single random visit . They could have been just having a bad day, after all. But now from a pair of visits more than a week apart, once on a busy night, and one on a dead night, i have to be the bearer of bad news. The service here was undisciplined and lackluster. The food didnt look or taste Mediterranean. The beef kafta tasted like dried out salty ground beef, and the Beef shawarma , although mountainous, was dry , monotone and tasteless. In hindsight I should have known , since there were no middle easterners eating here, wanting a taste of home. I'm not a spice fiend by any stretch, so for me to say this meal was bland is saying something. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the location. A real let-down, since I was hoping to find a Middle Eastern gem. If you're looking for a good Lebanese dining experience, look elsewhere. I will try a different location to give the franchise...
Read moreDon’t waste your time. Tried this place twice. First time was at night and there were only a few tables eating. Beers and food came pretty quick and food was good. It wasn’t late so they weren’t closing but after we ate, we sat for 30 minutes and no one came to ask if we wanted another drink, dessert, or anything. We would have had dessert and many more drinks. Had to find someone to get the check.
Gave them a second chance about 3 one afternoon. Ordered two beers and some food. Drank the beers and someone came to ask if we wanted another. We ordered 2 more beers and after 15 minutes of waiting, they never came. I went to find someone to get check, was taken inside to cash out. Our bill was for 4 beers and the falafel we ordered. Had to explain that we never got the other two beers nor the food. Two beers were almost 12.00. Waited over 35 minutes for the food that never came. There were only about 3 tables eating that day too. Neither time...
