Hacienda Colombiana — Restaurant in Ancón

Located in the tourist area of town, their prices are a bit high. A whole fried fish is 50% more than another place we ate just a half mile down the road. I did like my cazuela frijoles as something other than the usual, but my wife didn't feel well after starting to eat the chicken with mushrooms. I tried it and didn't think it had any flavor. Service was ok but not worth more than the basic 10% that is usual. I still got a little bit of a look when doing that. Bathrooms were clean. View is good but people on motorcycles like to rev their engines as they go by...

I wasn't sure if this place open because there weren't a lot of recent reviews. I went for lunch with my kids. I was surprised with the overall experience.

There's a lot of parking available and you only pay $1 if you spend on the premises available. The menu is complete with many Colombian dishes. I was looking for the bandeja paisa

We have been coming here for 6 years. When I tell you they never miss, I am not lying. Our favorites are the whole fried fish, garlic clams, empanadas, fried chicken wings, and ceviche. They do no disappoint!! When you come ask for Ximena! She NEVER gets our Margaritas wrong! The atmosphere and phenomenal Waterview coupled with the cook that always sends our food hot and fresh to the table cannot be beat. This is our spot for consistent flavor and a good time.
