Noa Evolution — Restaurant in San Francisco

I had a lovely lunch at Noa. The ambiance was nice. The service was ok, no great but acceptable. The Crispy Salmon Sushi was delicious. The Burrata Nikkei was incredible. The Truffle Fries were down right offensive. They were literally frozen fries like from a grocery store with parmesan and truffle oil on top. Really, how hard would it be for a restaurant on the level of Noa to use fresh cut fries? The Lobster Mac n Cheese was creamy and cheesy but the lobster very much missed its mark and for the price that was disappointing. Food 3/5.

The reason I give Noa a 3 out 5 for service is because I had the remainder of my Sushi and Lobster Mac n Cheese prepared to go but when I got home some of my food was missing, which was disturbing. I am neither crazy nor mistaken. I know what I did not consume, specifically the number of pieces of Sushi. It made me very uncomfortable consuming what I brought home so I threw it away as I was uncertain how my food was handled. On a Friday night, we were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant not too crowded, allowing for a relaxed atmosphere where we could enjoy the evening without feeling rushed or cramped. As the night went on, the vibe picked up with more guests arriving, especially as the restaurant kicked off a live show. The ambiance was one of the highlights—modern, sleek, with a touch of warmth that makes you feel both comfortable and special. The food was good. Amazing dishes with incredible flavors, but of course with just as big of a price tag. That said, the quality of the food is very outstanding. Their beef is clearly sourced from a quality vendor, and their desserts are out of this world delicious.

Service was very nice, the staff is very aware of each table, and will periodically check in when necessary. Absolutely amazing.
