I REALLY wanted to like this restaurant-it was my last dinner and the reviews are good but it was very disappointing. The good: service is excellent and the staff is very attentive. The decor is cute too but unfortunately that is as far as it goes. The pizza was edible but bland. They advertise juices on the menu however what I got was more like a smoothie and thick so it didn't really work with dinner. Lastly, the lasagna was advertised as a Nonna's recipe. I'm not sure whose Nonna would make that one but none that I know. The sauce is very odd and it was not seasoned at all. Then I think they blow torched the cheese on top which was just the icing on the cake of ruining the taste. The restaurant has potential bc theres some great dishes on the menu but...

Lovely Italian restaurant with a scenic view of the plaza and they have a great menu! Every day of my nearby stay, I craved Italian food. I am Gluten Free and was hesitant to try the new place, however the chef was so amazing and accommodating. My last evening I enjoyed the most delicious GF Pizza I've ever had in all honesty! I'm still craving it and want more! I had La Pesada Pizza. The crust was just the right combination of soft but crispy and not like a lot of other GF thin hard crusts. The sauce was flavorful and overall highly satisfying! My friend did not realize it was a GF crust and agreed it was delicious! My friend also had the tiramisu and loved it. Very chill place with a good vibe and decor. The pizza oven is the focal point behind the counter and with good reason. The pizza is very good here. I consider myself somewhat of a pizza fanatic and didn't think I could find pizza that I would like in Panama. I'm glad I was wrong - the consistency and flavors were excellent and reminded me of really good pizzerias in the US. Even the Caesar Salad was exceptional. Although the dressing was not a Caesar dressing, it was delicious, and the croutons were not the typical bagged, overly crunchy type. The salami and cheese croissant were very good as well.
