The most beautiful seaside public park in the city I have been to so far. Ubiquitous seating, shaded areas and palm trees. Excellent view of the ocean, Casco Viejo (San Felipe) area, Cinta Costera highway and skyscrapers. Enjoy the nice breeze while sitting in this clean and safe-feeling park. I have not yet experienced this park at night. But sifting through the pics I saw a group of folks doing exercises together on the center stage which makes the park seem safe.

Yo tourists, back in the day I did not think about hanging out in this area. This park and the surrounding vicinity have come a long way. Things are coming along beautifully. And this park is proof of the trickle down effect stemming from the San Felipe neighborhood.

This park has the space and capacity to host events. I was here for the Lunar New Year event which hosted community figures and government officials. Imagine being able to sit and relax while enjoying the distant view of the ocean and turning your head another direction and seeing the beautiful colonial area landmarks. Other things you will notice are traditional handy crafts sold by indigenous people and lots of tourist groups.

The neighborhood behind the park is called Terraplen which is an area that is experiencing renovation. Although there is a huge police presence there, the area still feels slightly unsafe. However, it is currently my biggest fascination due to its beautiful development. Rest assured, it will become a hotspot in the near future. Feel free...

This is a beautiful park that marks the transition of the old town (Casco Viejo) to the new, more modern parts of Panama City. It’s a great place to chill and enjoy the view. You can have a drink or grab a bite in one of the bars and restaurants along the park. This is not an ideal park to do sports and activities but it’s a great spot to hang out and chat the afternoon away.
