First the good: The views are amazing, as advertised. Wonderful rooftop setting and you can see the entire skyline. The food was solid, but not outstanding. I had a burrito and it was tasty and not ultra gigantic...just right.

The service, though, was impersonal, and verging on rude. We had to search out the waitstaff to be seated, and we weren't even sure we were in the right place: There is no one there to greet you and that's a problem. Getting to this place is terrible: you leave Casco Antiguo and the 'hood is really run down and feels quite dangerous. On top of that, to actually get to the restaurant, you have to go down a gross alley, enter a nondescript door to what looks like a closed-down restaurant, go through to the back (where random dudes are sitting together whispering...weird!) and take a very sketchy elevator to the top floor of the building. When you get there, there is no hostess so you're wondering if you're still even in the right place. Once you wander around and find the staff and get seated, the chairs are postage-stamp sized and super uncomfortable to sit on and they put the three of us at a 2-person table so our food barely fit. The final straw was the waitress (someone other than who served us) giving us grief for not tipping in...

I recently embarked on a thrilling bar crawl on a Wednesday night with my group, and Tacos La Neta was an absolute gem we stumbled upon. This place had it all: great, affordable drinks, live salsa music, and an ambiance that truly set the mood for a fantastic evening.

The rooftop of Tacos La Neta provided a breathtaking view, complete with a pool and ample seating. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of the city. Intrigued by the rave reviews, we decided to return the following night to sample their renowned tacos, and boy, were we blown away!

The Barria De Res, Sweet and Sour Belly, Cochinita Pibil, and Don Picaña tacos were nothing short of sensational. Each bite was a burst of flavors that left us craving more. We arrived around 9pm, just before the party started, but by 10:30pm, the place was alive and buzzing with energy. As we left, we noticed a growing line forming, a testament to the popularity of Tacos La Neta.

Whether you're seeking delectable food or an unforgettable night out, Tacos La Neta is the place to be. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a...

I’ve never left a 1 star rating before, but this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Food took over an hour, and 50 mins of that was waiting for someone to take our order. Firstly, it took 30 minutes for a server to take our order, and after watching most of them stand around and joke for a long time we waved at them directly - then someone came over and took our drinks order only and walked off, 10 mins later a guy comes to verbally confirm the order, 10 mins later (50 mins total waiting) he brings someone with an iPad to take our order. Food comes out and is some of the worst tacos I’ve ever had, and we think “oh I suppose we ordered the $2 tacos, so they will be basic” turns out (only after they had taken our $ and we questioned them) the $2 taco deal is only at 11pm and 1am, something they never told us as we were pointing to the $2 taco menu...

This spot is located on the rooftop of the Selina Panama hotel. It's great to have some tasty tacos, have a few drinks and watch the sunset. Unfortunately, it was cloudy when I went, however the $5 drink specials made up for it. They have a different drink special every day. The drink that day was a cocktail with Johnnie Walker whisky. It was pretty good. I ordered the chorizo and birria tacos. The birria tacos were so delicious. Chorizo is usually one of my favorites, however, I didn't love these...until I added the salsa verde to it. The tacos are served with different sauces. One mild, one medium, one hot. They also have quesadillas, burritos and appetizes like equites and flautas. It was reasonably priced as well. Definitely a spot worth checking out in Casco Viejo.

Maybe I’m too old now and don’t know how things work in the service industry… but the service here was Horrible! I didn’t get greeted until I greeted the bartender. It took forever to get noticed. I was asked to pay for my bill because the bartender said his shift was about to end but then I saw him service multiple people after he collected my pay. I finally asked him when was the best bartender coming and he said in 10 minutes… definitely not good service. After that, my eyes were open to other people who also hadn’t been serviced and that bothered me. I really expected this night to go different but it was bad and I really don’t recommend. I mean but the tacos were good. However from the photos you can also see that workers were no where around to be helpful

Went here because my AirBnB host recommended it and I liked the idea of a rooftop with a view. The problem is with accessing the restaurant. Crossing from Casco Viejo into this area is like leaving a Disney theme park and suddenly being inside an ugly film about New York City in its gritty 1970s decline. The hotel entrance is hard to find, it’s all bleak and in disrepair, it’s a maze of concrete to finally reach the elevator to the rooftop. Once there, the staff are pleasant and the food/drinks are fine. The view toward the new city with its skyscrapers is impressive, but I suspect there are much nicer ways to get that view.
