Every time I am In Asunción, restaurant Su is on my list to do. It has very tasty and authentic food, the Mandu is to die for, the kimchi pancake is a must try, the tokboki never disappoints and their soups/stews are as close as you can get to having a meal in Seoul. I love dakgalbi and I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with it… it was too drenched in sauce and the cooking pan was not the proper one so it ended up being a bit lost between an actual dakgalbi and a chicken stew (otherwise the spiciness and taste was decent enough). I would have liked some sweet potato and a bit more rice cake cause I felt that they added too much onions and cabbage.
The appetizers are tasty and true to what one should expect when Ordering. The overall atmosphere is comfortable and I enjoyed having a mix of Koreans as well as Paraguayans visiting the restaurant.
It will remain on my list of place to dine at whenever I visit the city.
I highly recommend visiting but it is also Important to know what you are ordering and what each dish has as ingredients not to have some surprises … too spicy...
Read moreWe visited Restaurante Su during our short stay in Paraguay. We had such an amazing experience that we had to go back within the same week with our family! We wanted to introduce korean food for the first time to some of our loved ones, and Su truly delivered. They were so impressed and totally enjoyed the culinary experience! Our favorite dish by far was the pork rips BBQ - heavenly! I was craving Sundubu. It tasted just like the ones we had in Korea. Honestly, every single dish we tried was beautifully presented and very well prepared. Servers were attentive, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated with both korean and paraguayan items. Which we loved! Su Restaurant is a must visit spot if you visit Asunción, Paraguay. Easy to make reservations through WhatsApp messages~ They respond quickly and provide you with a reservation code. Ps: Loved meeting the cats at...
Read moreI came to Paraguay and was told "It's hard to get spicy food here." And while that is mostly true, not so here.
I got their spiciest dish and it took me 3 days to eat it over multiple sessions! The noodles were the absolute best noodles I've ever had, very soft and silky.
Their Korean Banchan was also some of the best I've had and all seemed home made. The marinsted eggplant, sesame bean sprouts, kimchi, and some sort of marinated and grilled green beans....wow! Authentic and masterful Korean food.
Another at the top of my list for...
