I recently dined at Florencia, and while the food was satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by subpar service.

Food: The menu offers a diverse range of vegan options, and the dishes I tried were flavorful and well-prepared. The Chicarron de Setas had a comforting, rich taste and was fried to perfection the rest of the food were, Huancaina con Saltado de Tofu and Tofu Saltado was not that impressive. However, none of the dishes stood out as exceptional, leaving me with the impression that the food was just okay.

Service: Unfortunately, the service was the low point of my visit. The waitstaff was limited and inattentive. I had to wait a considerable amount of time before anyone took my order. When it did, no one ever came out to ask if everything was okay. We sat and waited for a while. I can hear them chatting in the back. Overall, the service lacked professionalism and efficiency, which significantly detracted from the dining experience.

In summary, while the vegan food at Florencia was decent, the poor service made the visit less enjoyable. There's definitely room for improvement in the customer...

Situated in a cozy colonial home with vary warm and welcoming environment, overall positive vibes all around. We started with a pitcher of strawberry lemonade, they make it to sweetness and ice how you wish, very good all fresh! We tried the aji de setas, which is a vegan spinoff of a traditional aji de gallina, it was very delicious and tasted almost identical. The other plate we tried was the causa primavera, the vegan mayo was phenomenal, and the quality of the yellow potato was superior. Lastly we finished off with a cappuccino sorbet, the texture was amazing and the flavor wasn’t too sweet nor too bitter. Given I am not a fan personally of almond milk but I can say this was the best...

During our one-week stay in Barranco (Lima), we ate at Florencia Vegan Kitchen three times. The proprietor, Ruth, is a sweet, and warm person who prepares her food with love and care; her staff, which includes her daughter, was also wonderful. All of our meals were absolutely delicious, the ingredients were super fresh; everything exceeded any expectations.

Our meals included vegan sushi, a mixed greens salad and carrot cake (all pictured in this review). We also had empanadas that we brought on the plane; like everything else, they were delicious.

We highly encourage a visit to Florencia Vegan Kitchen for delicious food made with love in a...
