Taquería No Te Rajes — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

I absolutely loved this place. I am from m Iowa (USA) and we have so many Mexican restaurants up there it has become a comfort food for me. My amazing husband has been on the hunt for a good Mexican restaurant worthy of taking me to. 7 1/2 months later, he found it when he was blessed to find a better job in Miraflores. I loved it even if it was not anything like I expected or am accustomed to. The meat was flavorful and the guacamole in it is just bursting with amazing flavor too. The only thing I might change is have an option perhaps to have it on a plate instead of a small basket. This comment is dedicated to the tourists that are looking for some mexican food. The food served here is the worse I have experienced. I travel quite a bit; and while in Lima, I decided to try this place, and I will not be generous and lie saying that the food was O.K. This food was anything BUT mexican. Chips were stale, their imitation "burritos" were cold and tasteless. Service was okay, definitely not outstanding nor good.

I was trying to have the current offer (a Taco with Chorizo), this one was only payable with cash - the rest was possible with card.

When the food came, it tasted quite nicely but one (even though is large) taco definitely was not enough, in contrarison to the waiters opinion. The guacamole was good, the meet though, the beanpaste not really.
