Cultural Center Ricardo Palma — Attraction in Lima Metropolitan Area

La biblioteca es enorme, a pesar que en la entrada están haciendo actualmente trabajos de remodelación tienen un salón donde exhiben cuadros hacia la izquierda. Hacia la derecha está la recepción donde hay personas serviciales que resolverán tus dudas. En el segundo piso accederás por un sol a amplios casilleros para guardar objetos personales con llave (recuperarás al final tu moneda) ya que en los ambientes de lectura no te permiten ingresar con mochilas, bolsos, morrales, etc. Dentro hay muebles y mesas muy cómodos con lámparas que ayudan a una lectura silenciosa y pacífica rodeado de revistas. También encuentras personas en un mostrador que pueden orientarte y pedirán que registres tu asistencia en un cuaderno. Al fondo del ambiente de lectura hay escaleras de metal muy delgadas y ligeras que conducen a un tercer nivel interno, cuyas paredes están abarrotadas de libreros y obras más pesadas, libros de lomo grueso, diversos temas y géneros esperan ser devorados por ávidos lectores y visitantes. Este nivel está equipado con muchas sillas individuales y mesas pequeñas todas con doble toma de corriente en el piso. También cuenta con un espacio lineal como habitáculos o cubíles de estudio libre combinando materiales de madera y vidrio. El silencio y la atmósfera de conocimiento motiva mucho a la investigación y el estudio. Cuenta también con otra escalera que lleva a un cuarto nivel más pequeño con muebles más cómodos pero en menor cantidad rodeados igualmente de libreros. En conclusión, el primer nivel de ingreso y el segundo donde en la entrada están los casilleros tienen piso de cemento, todos los demás niveles son alfombrados. El sitio es muy recomendable si tienes pendiente trabajo individual ya que en grupo no podrías debatir ideas por el silencio que exige. You can always find a good exhibit here. This time they were showing student art work from a Faber Castell competition and I really enjoyed it. Very creative and interesting.
