Los Angeles — Restaurant in Nazca

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. When we arrived, our friend was very sick with a stomach bug that had been brewing throughout most of the day. He was clearly struggling to eat his pizza (which was delicious) and the staff noticed. The restaurant owner went to the back and out came his mum - the chef! Turns out she has experience in traditional medicine and she prepared a special tea and special soup for our friend. He felt better very quickly. Freddy in front and the cook in the back put their hearts into the food. I liked the vibe in this place right away and I loved the food. I had the chicken and garlic homemade lumpy mashed potatoes and gravy. It was heavenly. The place is down to earth, yummy and it just felt like really good people that I like to support. And not too noisy. I pick a place because it looks good, but sometimes I don't check it out online, I was led to this place because it was the highest rated among restaurants within several blocks of my hotel. We visited this restaurant to have dinner in our first night in Nazca and we found it amazing. The most satisfying was the quality of the service. It is a small family restaurant and the owner was super friendly as he attended the tables. While we waited for our food to be cooked (less than 15min) he gave us some guide books to the Nazca region and very helpful suggestions about what to do. As for the food, we asked for Lomo Saltado and Ceviche which were both delicious and well served. Moreover, the atmosphere is cozy and the walls have various art pieces. All of this for under 20$,...
