We stumbled upon Los Bacos on our first night in Pisac while feeling a bit off from the altitude and not really having an appetite. We saw it had great reviews and decided to give it a try, and I am so glad we did. The food here is incredible, so good that it was the first time I actually felt hungry since arriving in Peru! We tried the mixed falafel and chicken shawarma wrap, and it was so delicious we ended up ordering a second one. What makes this place even more special are the owners, a kind and welcoming couple from Turkey who truly go above and beyond. We mentioned that our stomachs had been a bit off, and they actually went out of their way to find and buy a special tea for us, just so we could have it with our meal that evening. Their kindness and positive energy made us feel so cared for, and it turned what could have been a hard travel day into one we’ll always remember. If you’re in Pisac, don’t miss this spot. Amazing, comforting food, and owners who genuinely care about their customers. They deserve all the support and love for what they’re doing here.

My favorite restaurant in Pisac. The food is incredible and each order is completed with care. The owners are very kind and welcoming; in only a few short interactions I felt I was part of the family! I highly recommend getting the shawarma mixto: combining chicken and falafel in a shawarma wrap. The flavors are rich and well balanced. The raw veggies presented on the side add a crispness and coolness to the warm wrap. For only 5 soles more you can get a chica morada and some papas fritas dusted with spices (which again, I highly recommend getting). It's a cute, cozy feel inside with a great mural. The food is prepared in front of you so no secrets: only the real thing. The location is terribly convenient for those arriving into Pisac from Cusco or Ollantaytambo. The price is a bit more than what you'll pay for street food or a menú at most places, but the portions aren't small and the quality is clear. And it's much more affordable than the fancy cafes made for tourists in town. If you find yourself in Pisac or anywhere close, make Los Bacos a priority!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem – Truly Incredible Turkish Shawarma We unsuspectingly walked into Los Bacos and were completely blown away. This place serves authentic Turkish food, and hands down, it’s some of the best shawarma I’ve had in my entire life. Everything—from the seasoning to the tenderness of the meat—was absolutely spot-on. It’s rare to find a spot that surprises you like this. If you’re in the area and open to exploring something different, I highly, highly recommend giving this place a try. Total gem.

The falafel are absolutely delectable!! The homemade wheat wrap is sooo good. The chicken falafel wrap is good too, ask for extra meat!! The Turkish couple running the little restaurant, Are, kind, sweet and make really good food! You can get the food to go, the little restaurant isn’t so great inside you’re right on the bridge! Hopefully once they establish their business, they can find a new location! But even with all of this, it’s worth it as the food is great and not the typical food that you find everywhere in pisac!! I can’t wait to...
