El Café Feliz — Restaurant in Pisac

If I could put 8-stars for this place I would've✨ Spent here basically every day of my stay in Pisac, eating breakfast lunch & dinner here haha (except sunday, when it's closed😔), the 2 super friendly and gracious people running this place already knew me and my friend so good😂 Seriously, just go to this place. Best Acai bowl, chai, and Indian butter chicken the world have ever known (and so much awesome vegan&vegeterian options to choose from!!) Honestly I used to love coming here back in the day... They used to have the best chai in Pisac, and the cheese they used to use for the paneer almost had the texture of real paneer. Im super sad though because their new location feels so cold and not cozy like before. The food has definitely taken a big downgrade. The food is less flavorful, less quality, and maybe im wrong but even the portion seems smaller? At least the prices havent changed. I would be willing to pay more if there was an actually good indian restaurant in Pisac! This place is just not...

Unfortunately I have to rate this restaurant so low because 4 of us got salmonella here. We ate the chana masala and butter chicken. The food itself was very tasty but we waited about 40 mins to be served (even dishes that did not require cooking). It is definitely this restaurant that gave us salmonella because it is the only one we all ate at.
