Was quite curious from posts online so i visited the Glass House by Coffee Project. I visited early morning around 10am and the people were just starting to come in.
Having been to Palazzo Verde a couple of years ago, I didn’t expect much, however, I was delighted with the effort to make the place really look so classy yet laid back, and very comfy. All areas, uniquely styled.
I’d imagine this place flocked by bikers and runners in the early weekend mornings and late afternoons as it is a stone’s throw from nearby Portofino, Verdana and Ayala Alabang villages.
Indeed, glass panels surround the place and looks really good in the morning when the sun is shining directionally, casting enchanting reflections and shadows around the well-appointed dining area.
I’m not sure though how the place would look at night, but I think it would be equally awesome to see, knowing how Coffee Project’s interior design team knows their stuff.
The menu is clearly taken straight off from the Coffee Project cookbook. I’m not at all familiar with the menu details but it’s very comparable with those in Crossings Cafe (Daang Hari) and Napa (Tagaytay). I’d like to try their brick oven pizza soon!
What’s always good about Coffee Project is the availability of so much menu items at their stores. Pasta and pizza, pastries and breads abound. Some would say it’s a little pricey here but that’s how it is with most other restos around recently, anyway.
I’d say the service was good when I visited early morning. I don’t actually know how it will fare when the place gets jam-packed, especially during the late afternoons and on weekends.
As there’s always room for improvement, I’d probably wish for friendlier staff. Can’t help but compare customer service with other coffee shops at this category.
Restrooms are typically nice, clean and smells really good - one thing I really appreciate in most Coffee Project stores.
Parking is huge, by the way, as the parking area extends all throughout the Palazzo Verde frontage.
Yes, I’ll definitely visit again, probably on a late afternoon during weekdays to lessen the crowd. I can imagine this place would look so enchanting...
Read moreWe ordered the seared pork chop with pork wine at 630 pesos, a chopped salad for 440 pesos, a mocha for 210 pesos, and chocolate cookie dough for dessert at 150 pesos.
The pork chop was quite thin for its price. While it was tender, this was likely due to the thin cut. The flavor leaned only on salt and pepper, and the supposed wine element was hardly noticeable. If the wine was in the sauce, it did not stand out at all.
The mocha was decent but did not impress, especially when compared with other coffee shops like Zus Coffee which offers better flavor at a more affordable price.
On the positive side, my wife enjoyed the chopped salad and the ice cream, both of which were fresh and satisfying.
The overall food selection felt limited with fewer choices than expected, and the pricing was on the higher side for what was served.
The place itself is very aesthetic, with every corner and angle looking Instagram worthy. However, the comfort level inside was affected because it seemed only a few air conditioners were operating.
Some areas were off limits, possibly due to an event, so we could not fully experience the entire space.
Overall, the location is beautiful and perfect for photos, but the food was average compared to its price point. A wider selection of dishes, stronger flavor profiles, and improved comfort in the dining area would make the visit...

Food : I ordered a Rose Latte with Burnt Basque Cheesecake. Rose Latte really really looked pretty and was soothing too. It gives you the caffeine that you need but you cannot miss the soothing rose undertone. I am so obsessed with it, that I was already looking to get a Rose Syrup. It's great, definitely do try it. It even has edible rose petals for effects, which was so cute! Burnt Basque Cheesecake tasted okay, unfortunately, the texture was super grainy.
Atmosphere: AMAZING atmosphere here. It was breathtaking and it looked like you were going on one of those Cinderella Balls and it was well lit, well decorated, high end and every single corner is beautiful. I loved it here. They have tons of seats inside but they also had seats outside. It was just the perfect balance and contrast of a dark/lit environment, it's great!!!
Parking Space : Plenty of Parking Space. It was free. It was safe. It was organized.
Overall, you might argue that this is too expensive, actually, because a drink here will almost always range 250+ on any drink variant by the way. But I recommend trying it for experience. The drinks were great, the staff was nice, and the order was quick. Do...
