Popeyes Chicken - SM Southmall — Restaurant in 2nd District

I ordered 2 spag meals and 2 chicken meals with desserts to Popeyes Southmall branch earlier this evening with my 2 kids and a helper. In the middle of our dinner, my eldest daughter asked for an extra rice so I asked my helper to order instead. The helper came back with the rice and said the price of the rice is 36 pesos. I just thought since the rice was quite pricey it'd better if we change the order to a meal of Chicken with rice instead. So she went back to the counter, but the staff said it's not possible anymore. I was surprised and went there myself to ask them to just void or refund the rice to reorder /replace it to my chicken with rice but the manager said that it won't be possible because the transaction was already made. So what they want me to do is to pay for additional meal of chicken with rice on top of another rice which we cannot consume anymore. Nobody will eat the additional rice we just wanted to add a chicken but they made me very upset for not trying to help me with such a small favor. I didn't even ask them to void the order for nothing coz I wanted to order an additional. I was just really disapointed on how the manager handled that small request. She was not even apologetic and just made me feel that no matter how upset I was she can't and won't do anything about it because she said that was "company's policy". I find that manager on duty named "Jessica" to be really ineffective and mishandled the situation. Even if I told her I won't ever come back to this store, she didn't even bother to do something to win back a customer. We had chicken burgers and they were actually pretty good! The chicken was crunchy on the outside but meat was still juicy. the Fries were nicely flavored and cooked. Loved that they have lemonade. The crab soup was nicely flavored too… the downers to this experience were the biscuit and service. My biscuit was very dry. Also Had to follow up on the crab soup twice… then they served our food without napkins and a soup. So for each time, I had to walk back and to the counter from our table at the front of the store. Noticed too that although empty spots were clean, but it took a while before the other just-occupied tables could get bussed out. So it made the store looked cluttered, disorganized. They forgot five items from our order through Food Panda. When we talked to the Mgr., she said she would get them delivered to us. We waited for more than 20 minutes and made a follow-up. To our surprise, she said she was waiting for our delivery details, which she never asked for since she said she would get them delivered to us without any fee (given that it was their fault). Then she had the audacity to tell five of us, who listened to her call, that we were liars and that she asked for our delivery details. I hope Popeyes will do something about this kind of employee, who ruins the fastfood chain’s reputation. We never got the items they forgot to include. Thankfully, Food Panda...
