Bretto's Deli & Coffeeshop - Angeles Branch — Restaurant in Angeles

Went to Brettos a month ago and had a very good Aussie breakfast. Went back yesterday and got indigestion! The Aussie breakfast is now an English breakfast - the sausage was dry and tasted stale, the hashbrown was cooked in old oil so was bitter and inedible, the "over easy" eggs were over but not easy - one lump of greasy eggs, the baked beans were cold, the crispy bacon was not crispy, stale bread for the toast and no black pudding. In short, nothing on the plate was satifactory! When I brought their attention to the lack of black pudding - they gave me some raisins! The wife had a Filipino breakfast - tiny piece of bagus, two sunny side up eggs barely cooked and one broken, soggy garlic fried rice. Disgusting! The price for this mess peso500 for English and Peso275 for the Filipino. Will not be going back.

I should also point out that most items in the grocery section are overpriced. For example Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce is peso50 more than what you pay at SM. Likewise Tim Tams and Bega cheese.

I like to Deli selection and bread but be careful with the cold meats and cheese. Check before you pay I was given off looking Mortadella and stale Cambozola cheese.

I am really a food monster and I would like to try a lot of foods in different restaurants. I could say that when I ate meals in Bretto's.it satisfied my cravings.The Big Burgers is not applicable to one person as it is literally Big! hahaha! Bretto's ,The cheese that they use is so nice! The patty is great! I can't find a suitable words to described how their Burgers taste good! and one more thing,I never knew the word 'i want to go back in this restaurant" until I found and had meal at Bretto's Prestige located in the ground floor of Tune Hotel. The restaurant looks cozy and the dishes is exceptional. Who would have thought that Bretto's Prestige would be one of my favorite? I was extremely picky when it comes to choosing a meal. Why? Its because I want to spent money for something that will satisfied my taste bud and guess what? Bretto's fulfilled my cravings!

If you are just a tourist in Angeles, You shouldn't miss the chance of having a meal in this restaurant! The food that they served is very delicious! Their food is a must try!

Before this was the place to buy imported meats and cheese and other products. Also one of the finest pastry and bake shop there is. The restaurant also serves up fine sandwiches and other western food. However, as of this visit, the service is still great and welcoming but the cook messes up my Brazilian ribeye order. I specifically asked for my steak to be medium rare and what they gave me is a horrible well done and not well seasoned. I showed it to the waiter and waited for him to offer to send it back but he just shrugged and said that he said he told the cook. Typical blame shifting but the wait staff can only do so much. So i struggled with a well done and sinewy steak. This is unforgivable to a supposed purveyor of fine steaks and i hope this can still be addressed by the management.
