Gerry's Grill - Ayala Angeles Marquee Mall — Restaurant in Angeles

Haven't been here for over a decade but I remember it being alright back then. What I see nowadays is you get less for a higher price.

Kare Kare (P500+) was supposed to be oxtail and it was loaded with the fatty parts. Huge chunks of it, barely any meat. Sauce was basic, dissolved powders.

Kaldereta (P600+) had more meat and some potatoes. Sauce wasn't as good as any home-cooked kaldereta.

The lumpiang Shanghai was alright and the tuna sisig was actually good.

Didnt take any pics because, well, no matter how I'd frame it, they are unflattering.

The service was actually vastly improved. Friendly, assertive staff making sure we're okay. Almost US style service. And considering there's a small service fee, this is appreciated.

All in all, if in the mood for Filipino food, home-cooked is the better options, especially given how expensive...

☑️Location- infront of Marquee residence. At the back of the main entrance of Marquee mall. ☑️Place- good ambiance. Prefer to sit inside the restaurant. Children are playing ball games outside. Ball might fall into the food or worst might hit you. Toilet is clean, but needs to put some airfreshner. ☑️Food- we enjoyed eating the Dinakdakan. Serving portion is good enough compared to other restaurants. Waiting time is bit long. We waited for 40-50 minutes. Not sure if under staff. ☑️Customer service- average customer service. Walked in place seemed quiet , but found at the beginning the staff to be attentive , but all went sideways quickly leaving us to wait 20 mins plus to give our order which was a red horse and sm pilsen and two chicken gravies ,Upon recieving the food order was left to disappoint the orders look sloppy with poor presentation with confirmation of my suspicion the food quality was to follow , there was 80% bones 20 % gravy , hidden by the gravy , they obviously order the smallest size chicken with no meet , When I brought this to one of the waitreses named Lorna, only got the response would you like to cancel untill she understood I was writing this review then was I offered a...
