I discovered this cafe three years ago while searching for nearby cafes with high ratings in Google Maps. They have a new branch at Centrio, but their original branch at Justo Ramonal St is still worth the visit (a 15-minute slow walk from either SM Downtown Premier or Ayala Centrio). It’s very coffee forward, with a limited food menu (try the puttanesca, which is simple but flavorful). No a/c, but the place is cozy, with warm and friendly baristas. From the outside, it looks like a regular Filipino home. Get in and be pleased with the artworks displayed, add to that the appeal of the living vines over the walls.
It’s a small and intimate place, which makes it even stand out. I’m glad I visited early (8AM), so I was able to take a photo without distractions of other guests.
I had a cup of hot matcha and a cream cheese bun.
This is my top favorite among the CDO cafés I visited that day. I...
