A Review of Service at Ggalyx: A Frustrating Experience
During my recent stay at Ggalyx, I encountered significant issues with the service that impacted my overall experience. I arrived at the hotel at 12:00 p.m., exhausted from my trip and hopeful that I could check in earlier than the standard 2:00 p.m. check-in time. When I approached the front desk and asked if an early check-in was possible, I was told that guests were still in the process of checking out and that the rooms needed to be cleaned.
Initial Interaction and Promises At around 12:05 p.m., I observed several guests checking out and approached the front desk again to inquire if I could check in as soon as the rooms were cleaned. The response was positive, with the staff confirming that I could check in early after the rooms were ready. With this assurance, I continued to wait.
Prolonged Waiting and Lack of Communication Despite my hope of getting some much-needed rest, an hour and a half passed without any updates or progress on my check-in. During this time, I repeatedly approached the front desk to check on the status of my room, only to be met with vague responses and no tangible action. It is unreasonable for the cleaning process to take over an hour and a half, especially given the initial promise of an early check-in. The lack of proactive communication and the repetitive nature of my inquiries made the experience frustrating and exhausting.
Final Check-In I was finally checked in at 1:40 p.m., nearly two hours after my initial arrival. The wait was unnecessarily long, and the continuous need to ask for updates only added to my frustration. This experience reflected poor service management and a lack of attentiveness to guest needs.
Final Thoughts While Ggalyx may offer the standard amenities expected of a hotel, the service quality falls short. The inefficiency in handling check-ins and the lack of clear communication create an unwelcoming experience. If timely service and responsive staff are priorities for your stay, Ggalyx may not be the best option. For any hotel, guest satisfaction begins with how well staff manage essential processes such as check-ins, and this is an area where Ggalyx needs significant...

On my last day, (stayed for 3 nights) the shower acted up and didn't want to heat up & pressure was the weakest. Read moreReception girls are impolite. They give you the more expensive rooms when you just need the less pricy ones. Example, you want the cube room but they give you the more expensive one. You want to spend below 1k but they make you spend 1,5. You negotiate to take the cheaper rooms but they dont offer it. You hear another guest ask and they give it. Price discrimination? And hey, I got the more expensive room but the aircon doesnt cool the room. And we are already too tired to change rooms because reception is too busy. We keep coming back because it is in the city but hey even the setup of the tv, location and reception is bad. Internet is also 1mbps. Not even fast enough my goodness.. Remember I'm making an honest review. I know this city. This street where the hotel is built as well. I know it in my bones. I hope you think about quality of service rather than just profit. Because eventually, your hotel will loose to competition if you don't...
