Beanstalk Cafe — Restaurant in Calamba

We saw Beanstalk Cafe in Calamba on TikTok and we thought the food and drinks looked masarap, so we decided to try it. We went there after opening, probably around 20–30 minutes after they opened. Nag-check pa kami ng menu for about 10–15 minutes, and when we were finally ready to order, no one came to take it.

We waited, but still wala. I even went to the kitchen to ask kung pwede na mag-order, pero sabi lang nila hintayin daw yung taga-take ng order. So we waited again for around 20 more minutes, pero wala pa rin. Apparently, yung staff na dapat kukuha ng order, lumabas lang and never came back while we were there.

We were 7 hungry pax, and in the end, wala kaming na-order. We just decided to leave and look for another coffee shop instead.

For me, it's better during off-peak days. Coz during weekend, expect it being jampacked. Nevertheless, the place is one of the perfect venues for you to chill out either with coffee or alcholic drinks. Given its location being on the rooftop of a "five-story" hotel (if i'm not mistaken). Beanstalk has been a staple in the Calamba food scene for a long time now. It's a great place to chill and have drinks with friends. They have great customer service as well.
