Today, January 10, 2023, we had agreed to eat some ramen and coincidentally we passed by Ramen Kuroda here in its SM Calamba branch, we usually ate at their BGC branch, as there are lots of people eating inside. There are seats at the waiting area, take note we waited for 30 minutes at the waiting area before we got our seats inside the store, and the guy assisting in front of the store took our order before waited outside for a seat to open up. We waited again for 30 minutes expecting our food to be served but no food was served until one of the crew asked if our order was taken for our table 10,11 and 12. They searched for our order that was written by the guy that was assisting in front of the store namely JV or JB. After searching for almost three minutes, they gave up and asked what our orders were. Out of spite and hunger we decided to cancel our 5 ramen sets.
Take note:
All customers who arrived after us were served with food when we should’ve had ours first, since we are the first one to arrive and order.
As Filipinos we tend to not make a complaint while the food is not out, so that they cannot make dirty of our food; example is spitting at the food they are making for a rude customer.
We waited at exactly 8pm to 9pm, SM closing time.
I am making this review for the people who read this review that I am not recommending eating at this branch of Ramen Kuroda, IT'S BETTER TO EAT AT...
Overall, was disappointed with the taste. I was craving ramen and this didn't satisfy it at all.
Ramen (dish rating of 1/5 stars): The broth was so salty! I normally can finish ramen broth but not this time, the saltiness was unbearable especially with the egg. The egg that comes with this ramen isn't even the standard ramen egg (ajitsuke tamago) but a really salty egg which sucks since the broth was already very salty too! Doesn't have the standard amount of toppings a ramen comes with either; just salty egg, small slice of meat, and spring onion.
Gyoza (dish rating of 1/5 stars): Standard gyoza. The thing that made me give this a lower rating is the sauce. The sauce was too sour! I don't know what sauce they gave but I would've been much happier if I had plain kikoman soy sauce to dip my gyoza into instead of whatever that was.
Karaage (dish rating of 3/5 stars): It was the most decent out of everything I tried. The only thing that saved my meal from complete disappointment which is lucky since I just added this as an extra order, the previous two dishes were...
Read moreBest bowl for its price. Congrats for a promising sale, pinipilahan na kayo. Like me, most of the ramen fans will love you because of your affordable quality ramen. Hwag kayong magbago mga pare ko, oks na oks ang ramen nyo. Stepping up soon to the next level... Try offering premium servings, with thicker noodles, then slice your chashu bigger na may bagong aura. Expose more menma, black fungus, and whole but sliced aji tamago. Roast your sesame seeds further para lalong mag golden ang coatings nya. Finish with shreaded nori. You may call it SHIRO RAMEN V2.0 ... Then wag nyo itapat ang price sa N_g_ at Men__dkr_ para lalo namin kayo mahalin. The FOH are very good, polite, gentle, friendly, you deserve a raise, ang babait ninyo and you always make sure your customers will get a clean, neat table. Your kind of service competes with bigger ramen brands. Trust me, offer premium ramen and you'll never regret it. Kudos to...
