On the evening of October 14, 2023, my companions and I eagerly made our way to New Silver Crown Panciteria, hoping for a delightful dining experience. Anticipation quickly turned to frustration as our patience was tested by an agonizingly long wait for our single order. The clock ticked away, and a full hour later, our dishes finally graced our table, leaving us hungry and irked.

Throughout the ordeal, the waiter's lack of expertise and his less-than-truthful explanation, citing the complexity of our order, particularly the soup, only added insult to the injury of our prolonged hunger. It was disheartening to witness the struggles of the clearly overworked staff, hinting at a severe lack of manpower within the establishment.

Compounding our disappointment was the noticeable inefficiency in the way things were managed, with a disorganized system that appeared to exacerbate the existing issues, rather than alleviate them. Our experience left us with a deep sense of disillusionment, prompting me to caution anyone considering a visit to New Silver Crown Panciteria.

In light of these challenges, I cannot help but express my sincere concern for the restaurant's ability to provide a satisfying dining experience to its customers. It is my hope that this feedback serves as a constructive critique, urging the management to address the underlying issues that marred our visit and, ultimately, tarnished the otherwise promising potential of New Silver Crown Panciteria.

I don’t always share my opinions publicly about restaurants I visit, but I feel the need to speak up this time. Sometimes it’s important to highlight a great meal — and other times, it’s necessary to raise awareness for others who might be planning to dine here.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disappointing. From the start, it was clear they were severely understaffed. No one greeted me or offered a menu. The dirty plates from the previous diners sat on my table for over 30 minutes before being cleared, and no staff member came to take my order — I had to walk up to the cashier just to place it.

Even then, I noticed that nearly all tables were still waiting for their food. Meanwhile, the staff were loudly shouting among themselves, completely ignoring the fact that customers could hear everything.

After waiting an hour and a half, my food finally arrived. It was just okay — not worth the wait or the lack of service.

There were many empty tables, yet people were still left waiting far too long. Please, show more concern for your customers. I won’t...

The restaurant is known for its Chinese cuisine and is a great place to enjoy delicious food at an affordable price. The sweet and sour pork, lumpiang shanghai frito, and prawns are some of the recommended dishes. However, we have noted that the waiting time can be long due to the high volume of customers. The price range per person is PHP 150-200, which I consider cheap. Our order that time only totalled to PHP 375 and we had a lot of leftovers.

The restaurant can get hot inside during peak hours and the waiters may ignore you sometimes. These are valid points to consider when visiting the restaurant.

Overall, Silver Crown Restaurant is a great place to enjoy Chinese cuisine at an affordable price. The food is phenomenal and the staff is welcoming.
