Extremely Disappointing Experience at Samgyupsalamat Caloocan City Branch – June 12, 2025

We dined here around 5:00 PM and noticed there were only two waiters on duty, so we tried to be very patient. However, it took 30–40 minutes for simple requests to be fulfilled, and we were often ignored when calling for assistance.

The worst part was when I politely asked for soy sauce, and a male staff in a black polo shirt sarcastically responded, “Toyo ba? Kaya pala malalakas ang toyo nyo, ma’am,” (Siguro he feel irritated kasi nag rrequest and demand kami ng mga needs namin sa table, theres nothing wrong with that) which was extremely rude and unprofessional. He even poured too much sauce on our table, which felt intentional and disrespectful — this led my companion to speak up, saying, “Nagbabayad kami, bakit ganito ang trato?”

We understand if the staff was tired, but it does not excuse disrespectful behavior. Adding to the frustration, our cheese sauce took 40 minutes to arrive and came watery. I had to request a proper replacement before they acted on it. Throughout our visit, the staff looked irritated and unwelcoming — it made the atmosphere uncomfortable while we were eating.

I’ve been a regular customer of Samgyupsalamat for years, but this experience was the worst I’ve ever had. Poor service, rude staff, and zero customer courtesy. I hope management addresses this and trains their staff properly. No paying customer should be...

May 15. Kanina lang. Naenjoy ko grabe.

Their menu improved a lot since the last time I went here which is around 2 years ago. I am a fan of samgyupsals, I can say that their serving is a lot better now more than compared others, "Galante" ung enoki beef nila and ung mga beef pa talagang solid kala mo steak na nung naluto.

I tried the chicken but medyo malamig na pero at least may gravy sila.

They now have a buzzer too if you need to call the staff.

The staffs are very accommodating, mabilis sila ung tipong kakapindot mo pa lang ng buzzer e andyan na, tapos pagkaalis ng kausap mo e may lalapit if okay na ba, partida we went here maraming tao ung tipong dinner and payday pa.

Its also cool they gave out methos candy upon paying your bill.

They have a parking space also downstairs, i think 20 pesos lang ata un for motorcycles. i dont know for cars. At least may guard naman na natingin.

Atmosphere is also good too, sympre medyo mausok, grilling e. But they have couch seats. Maganda naman ambiance.

Hindi kami halos nagantay ng matagal since they have lot of tables inside naman.

Un nga lang, i think you have to eat agad ung beef nila after cooking, since medyo baka hindi mo agad manguya at malunok na pag lumamig na masyado.

But overall, so far, mas approved sila saken ngayon compared their previous menu, mas madami ng pagpipilian ngayon sa meat and...

I've been a customer of this branch for 5x for 6 weeks. Idk if there's no Muksal to their menu whenever we dine or it was just for the show on their menu but it's always out of their stocks.

Meats are fresh hindi maamoy. They changed their samjang dip from a delicious and special one to the usual samjang that we can buy to the grocery store.

Service crew provides good service. Best time to dine during 9pm...
