Abaca has always been a favorite of mine for coffee and pastries, and their Cybergate store delivers the same great flavors, just in a much smaller setup. Compared to their other branches, this is probably the tiniest one I’ve visited. Unlike the bigger stores, like the one in IT Park (which even has a toilet for customers), this branch feels more like a grab-and-go spot rather than a sit-down café.
They don’t serve cooked meals here, only pastries and sandwiches but to be fair, those are what Abaca does best. Their ham and cheese croissant remains a classic, and even their plain croissant is buttery and flaky enough to stand on its own. I also enjoyed the Cubana sandwich, which is hearty and flavorful. And of course, their coffee is consistently good, making it a reliable quick stop for a caffeine fix.
The space itself is clearly designed for a quick run with high bar stools and limited seating, it isn’t really meant for long stays or lingering. If you’re looking for a cozy spot to spend hours in, this isn’t the one. But if you just want to grab a pastry and coffee on the go, this little branch gets...
Read moreWe went there to buy coffee and something to eat at almost 3:30am. Their ABC coffee was good but lack of sweetness so we asked for sugar and they gave us sugar packets coz they didnt have sugar syrup. They didnt ask the level of sweetness before order gets done. Well, we’re first time buyers and didnt think it’s common for not asking ahahaha which I think we should’ve proactively told them our preferences. So the sugar wasnt easy to mix with the iced coffee we bought ahaha. Additionally, they didn’t have a serving tray. The pretzel I bought was like a crumpled paper, not soft at all but smells good. Idk why this sht happened to us but maybe because they are closing at 4am. The coffee prices were affordable and they offer discounts on specific time which you can see it on the photo I...
Read moreThis fine art on the inside of Abaca Baking Company really caught my attention. You wouldn't really see it from the outside, but the interior is artistic. This reminds me of my sons drawing book. It doesn't make sense sometimes yet only a true artist can appreciate the beauty of this intramural.
It was muggy yesterday so I opted for a JAVA CHIP. Frozen coffee was good however it didn't have that level of strong coffee and dark chocolate flavor that I always looked for on this certain order.
Great choices of pastry & dessert We enjoyed every bite of the daily cupcake. The thickness and sweetness of the frosting compliments the richness of the cake 9/10 👌
In addition to this, the place was small yet I was very please to choose this place for a...
