Having spent countless hours in various coffee shops trying to find that perfect blend of productivity and comfort, I can confidently say Dr. Coffee in Cebu City hits the sweet spot, especially if you're a student or remote worker. Located on the 2nd floor of the Jaeja Building on OsmeĂąa Boulevard, it's easily accessible and a true urban oasis.

What sets Dr. Coffee apart, beyond its clever medical-themed decor (think coffee "doses" and unique beakers for drinks), is its commitment to providing an ideal environment for focused work. The ambiance is consistently quiet and calm, a stark contrast to some of the louder, more bustling cafes around. There are ample seating options, from individual tables perfect for deep dives into textbooks or reports, to larger communal tables that still offer a sense of personal space. The chairs are surprisingly comfortable for long periods, which is a huge plus.

And let's talk about the essentials: Wi-Fi and power outlets. Dr. Coffee excels here. The internet connection is reliably fast, allowing for seamless video calls and heavy research without frustrating lags. Power outlets are plentiful and strategically placed, so you're never scrambling for a spot to charge your laptop or phone. This alone makes it a go-to for anyone needing to buckle down and get things done.

Of course, the coffee itself is excellent. Their Spanish Latte is a personal favorite – creamy, sweet, and perfectly balanced, it provides just the right kick without being overly strong. They also have a good selection of pastries and light meals if you need to refuel during...

Dr. Coffee truly stands out as a remarkable establishment. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the coffee shop; the coffee is not only delicious but also very affordable, making it perfect for students. The ambiance is incredibly inviting, providing a comfortable environment that’s ideal for studying, relaxing, or catching up with friends. The cozy and aesthetically pleasing lounges and conference rooms add to the overall charm.

What impressed me the most was an incident I witnessed during my visit yesterday, coinciding with the Sinulog Festival. One young female customer suddenly collapsed, and the barista sprang into action with impressive assertiveness and responsiveness. She took initial basic medical assessment and response while the other barista quickly called for her boss and manager, who both have medical backgrounds as doctors and nurses. They promptly assessed the situation, took the customer’s blood pressure, and initiated initial medical care. The manager then contacted the emergency medical team, who arrived swiftly and transported the customer to the hospital via ambulance.

I was surprised that most of the baristas in Dr. Coffee are Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified responders who underwent basic training.

This experience highlighted not only the quality of service at Dr. Coffee but also the professionalism and preparedness of the staff in a...

As someone who has been a regular at Dr. Coffee for quite some time now, I understand that experiences can vary, and I sympathize with those who have voiced concerns in recent reviews. No one wants to encounter poor service or unsanitary conditions, and I believe all patrons deserve respect and a pleasant atmosphere wherever they dine.

However, my personal experience at Dr. Coffee has been quite the opposite. The staff I’ve encountered have always been polite, professional, and attentive. I’ve never had an issue with cleanliness—on the contrary, the café consistently feels tidy and welcoming. The food and drinks, in my opinion, stand out for their quality. Whether it’s the freshly brewed coffee or their sandwiches, each item is served with care and attention to detail.

I will not deny, however, that there are times that my orders get delayed but I understand that I visited during peak hours. I don’t doubt that some may have had off days at the café, as no establishment is perfect. But from my perspective, Dr. Coffee continues to be a place I’m happy to frequent and drag my friends along with, thanks to its inviting atmosphere, dedicated staff, and satisfying menu. I hope those who have had less-than-stellar experiences will give it another chance, as my experiences suggest the issues raised are...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Coffee and let me tell you, i love their concept, it was wittingly thought about for coffee addicts like me.LoL Now, let's talk about the coffee. Oh boy, it was amazing! Dr. Coffee really knows their stuff when it comes to brewing the perfect cup. Love their spanish latte, pasta and desserts! Their menu is filled with all sorts of delicious options. But it's not just the coffee that impressed me. The staff at Dr. Coffee are some of the friendliest and most passionate people I've ever met. They genuinely care about their customers and go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels welcome. They do have service waters and they refill ice too! Lovely! Overall, my experience at Dr. Coffee was beyond amazing. It's the kind of place where you can relax, work, study, hold your meetings in one of their function rooms, and enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a cozy spot to unwind, I highly recommend checking out Dr. Coffee. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Note: This review is based on my personal experience and reflects my honest opinion.

As someone who loves exploring study friendly coffee shops, Dr. Coffee has quickly become one of my favorite spots to study or get work done. The place is cozy and quiet, which makes it really easy to focus, and the atmosphere is perfect for long, productive sessions. I appreciate that they have reliable WiFi and plenty of outlets, making it ideal for students or anyone working on their laptops. They also have three meeting rooms available if you need privacy for group discussions or online meetings. The coffee is really good and surprisingly affordable, with a variety of options to choose from, and they also serve food, which is perfect if you’re planning to stay a while. The staff are friendly and accommodating, which adds to the comfortable and welcoming vibe of the cafe. It’s accessible, budget-friendly, and has everything you need for a productive and relaxing experience. They also have a comfort room and parking space, which are both super convenient, especially if you’re planning to stay for hours. Whether you’re there to study, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee, Dr. Coffee is definitely worth visiting.
