I was a bit disappointed on their service. Had to wait an hour when i have booked it prior time.
When i got in the place no one greeted even if front desk was just up front. The personnel were just talking like as if they didnt see a guest came in.
Upon talking to them they were just whatever, informed me room is not yet available and had to wait for an hour. We waited by the car and just waited for like eternity.
When we went upstairs, the floor were dirty, come to think of it it was already past 6 pm then yet the place was like it has not been tidied. Housekeeping cart was at the hallway. Failed to get photos upstairs as I had an emergency that needs my at most attention, but even then, the mess cant be missed!
Room has no rag on the floor. Aircon was not the best its like a decade old already or more.
Good thing the shampoo was perfect, it was inside a pump bottle its like as if a guest must have forgotten about it, but then im glad they did. However it may also mean housekeeping recycles whatever was left by the guest.
To sum up, I was not a happy guest! If you need to be near a hospital or bettery yet HP diagnostic laboratory, I would definitely recommend the place otherwise, I would suggest go get an airbnb room thats cheaper and cleaner.
I dont think Id ever coming back...
Read moreApple Tree Suites may not be a five-star hotel, but for me, it has always been a five-star experience in memories. As early as 2006, whenever my brother and I visited our mom in Cebu (we were still living in Bohol back then), this was our go-to place to stay. Affordable, clean, and conveniently located near Fuente Osmeña, it quickly became our second home in the city.
I still remember my first taste of independence—venturing out as a second-year high schooler from Apple Tree Suites to grab a bite at Jollibee in Robinsons Fuente. That short walk felt like a grand adventure back then, and it’s one of those small but unforgettable memories that made Cebu feel so alive to me.
Beyond the nostalgia, Apple Tree Suites continues to deliver. The rooms are spotless, the staff are warm and quick to assist, and while it’s a no-frills budget hotel, it has everything you really need—cable TV, Wi-Fi, and even a rooftop restaurant with good views of the city. It’s simple, but it works, and for travelers who value location, affordability, and heartfelt service, this place is hard to beat.
This hotel isn’t just accommodation—it’s a time capsule of my Cebu journeys, a reminder of youthful explorations and family visits. That’s why Apple Tree Suites will always hold a special place...
Read moreWe just arrived at the hotel and we suddenly noticed some stains on the blanket. When we called room service to replace the blanket, the guy told us that the blanket was clean (it’s just how it looks). But when we made him change it anyways, boy this hotel is disgusting as hell. Everything to the sheets and the bed itself was really dirty. I can tell that all of their rooms are like this because even the replaced blanket wasn’t that clean. This place shouldn’t be operating anymore to be honest. I can’t believe they have 4 stars on the...
