Hukad Everyday Filipino — Restaurant in Cebu City

We have ordered grilled tuna and vegi kare kare + rice. As per the menu and as confirmed by the waitress, each meal was supposed to be big enough to share for 2-3 people. The meals appeared to be smaller than advertised. Kare kare was more in the size of side order or maybe good enough for 1 person. Taste was okish. The tuna was good for 1 person only (about 10x6cm long piece). However, the taste was soo disquisting, that we didnt eat it at all. It smelled unfresh so we suspected it was spoiled. We spit it out after trying 1st bit. We called out the waitress and reported that the fish is not good and we do not want to eat it, we do not want to risk to get sick. The waitress said she will take the fish to the manager but asked us also if we will still pay for it. There was really no apologies or any customer care behaviour showing that she cares (knows how to) about her customers. Since we were still hungry, we ordered chicken. It was ok. When it came to the payment, tuna was on the bill on top of other 2 meals we ordered. We were watched by other waitresses from the distance, as we suspect - to see if we will argue. We didnt not, decided to pay for this spoiled tuna. I went to the counter with my card to pay and made the comment to the person charging us that I would advise to consider in the future not charging the customers for the food they cannot eat because its not good/its spoiled. Especially, when they have to order additional meal because they are hungry. In response I was told that the quality manager checked the fish and decided it is good. And only then this person said "sorry" for our experience. I do not recommend this place because of the bad quality of food, risk of getting sick from unfresh food and lack of customer...

Service sucks.. staff are in disarray, don't know which order or table to prioritize. Food arrived after 45 mins, that's how long to prepare tinolang manok, grilled pork belly, and oh we have to cancel our nilat.ang baka kay gahi pa daw ang meat as per the staff. Thats after 30mins we placed our order.. and I guess the rice won't be served until we chase them up. We placed our order at 11:10am so the place wasnt packed with people. And, come 12nn, gamay ra ghapon ang nangaon. Mao siguro kay poor...

Had lunch yesterday, Sinigang pork taste old pork,thawed out few times. It has unpleasant flavor that we did not touch after we tasted it ,made us gag. Burnt froozen and old flavor ,even the color of the pork changed. Took 45minutes for one cken bbq, so i ask to go ,cause took so long.,we end up throwing it away cause its so sour ,and taste panis ,Geez hukad please serve good food ,so that we will not waste of our hard...
