Alone and little hungry I felt like Italian salad so Ordered crambery salad,w/Apple slices and cashew nuts vinegrete dressing,, Lettuce little old, hardly any cranberries perhaps 2 pinches about 12 pcs lol dame with the nusts but apple pieces were plenty very thinly sliced no crispness in such type of salad as should be, dressing seemed Waterdown I had no control of how much on it.. other perhaps missi g other veggie (carrot, onion is goog for Italian salads) Also Ordered the fried calamari although well friend and cryspy portion was too small and pieces seemed as ones you buy very small in market or ones I use as bait when I go fishing back in the states, other then the oíl you can taste the oíl being soo old, additionally I was given 1/3rd of small container of dressing, I requested little more got half of container just made it wiping it clean Hahaha its OK,,,like the drink passion fruit tea but I wouldn't pay another time for this ill just get bottle water or a can of soda.. also felt being watched soo many employees seemed to be not having something to do, one cashier 2 waitresses and 2 people in and out of kitchen wondering about one must have been on break as he sat across glass looking towards us customers(I and one other single eating a couple and 1 family ) So in general it was not really worth it, I'm glad i wasn't as hungry and perhaps had a bad experience...

First, this restaurant is located in a dying Robinsons mall. I was looking for another restaurant located nearby before realizing that it had shut down without a trace. With the low foot traffic in this mall, I guess Brique doesn't get a lot of customers, either. Many items were unavailable, in particular 90% of the drink menu.

I ordered the sausage chorizo pasta. The picture looked pretty good. The waitress repeatedly mispronounced "fettuccini" while explaining the options. She told me that it would take 20 minutes, which I think should mean that it takes some work to prepare. But when it arrived it was just barely hot. Perhaps it took 20 minutes to defrost.

The bread looked nothing like the picture in the menu. Instead of covered with baked cheese, it was actually a slightly stale white bread about half covered with garlic butter. The "chorizo sausage" did not taste like chorizo at all (either Mexican or Filipino variety) and actually was more like the balls of sausage you find on a frozen pizza. The sauce was almost tasteless. The pasta was carrying the flavor load in this dish, which is not a good thing. The only thing that went right was the Coke (the only thing I could order on the drink menu), which...

This is the first time I tried this restaurant. Had high expectations. Ordered the briquettes chops. And what a surprise. There was a big blob of something on top of the chops, frozen hard. Ask the waitress what it was and confirmed my suspicion that it was indeed butter. It was supposed to melt all over the chops. Well that didn’t happen. It was still frozen, probably because the chops were lukewarm so I had it returned. I understand how it would be served but it just didn’t melt. Obviously frozen hard, chops lukewarm. And the last straw, I happened to glance at the service door smalll window. I saw this guy pick up my chops with his bare hands with a disdainful look in his face and tossed it on carelessly towards the grill. That really irked me and confronted him. Bravo! He told me they wash their hands! Wow. Good luck all diners! Don’t worry, they wash...

I had high expectations here but ended up leaving disappointed. The herbed pork chop was salty, dry, and tough to cut. Same with the smothered pork chops. It was indeed smothered in that cream sauce and yet it still managed to be dry and bland. Their mashed potato was flavorless, clumpy, and just so, so sad. For a seemingly high-rated restaurant where customers look like they wouldn’t care about their total bill, the food is incredibly mid. Please do your customers a favor and add a slice of lemon on the side of the scallops! They’re so buttery and creamy that it’s too much. They’re salty too and a bit of acid would help. The only good thing we had here was the iced tea. This wasn’t worth it.

Part of the Brique chain, this location is not among the nicer ones. Reflecting the brutalisim of the Robinson Galleria mall, it just isn't a pleasant place. The service is similarly lacking. Order water and drinks and it is likely to arrive after your food. Order a 'pitcher' drink and you might not get a glass or even straw, even after asking. Plates might be cold, chilling food that should be warm. etc.. Just a serious lack of attentiveness and training. But back-house and core kitchen is great. The food (when not served cold) is what you would expect from a nicer Brique location. So if you want good good, but don't mind a little neglect or abuse from the staff and location, this an option.
