Dining with friends and loved ones is always comforting. It was lunch time, our preferred restaurant was full so we decided to eat at Cafe Laguna SM Seaside. It's my first time here, I heard before that they are a bit pricey. It was true. The food was not served all at once, it was already past lunch time when all of our orders came in. I understand that they are busy. The taste of the viands we ordered is just ordinary for me. You know that feeling when you eat something that would really leave a mark. I did not feel that. Good company with friends, made our experience here more memorable. Give it a try when your main restaurants are full and you can't really wait. We ordered their kinilaw and I was disappointed. For me, I think they need to work on improving this dish, the taste, garnish, ingredients, everything about it. I love the watermelon shake. The radish and coconut milk didn't go well. Went to eat Lunch there yesterday. Fried chicken was basic and had no seasoning. I was expecting the fried chicken to have like more flavours or seasoning but it was just basic which taste like only deep frying without seasoning.

Sweet & Sour Fish Fillet is nice but i wish the gravy had more. What happened was the fish fillet was finished from the plate but the gravy is still on the plate. A male waitress there just pick it up and clear it off from my table without asking. He thought that i was done when in fact i am not done yet. Why can't they wait for us to finish everything before clearing everything?
