Dolce — Restaurant in Cebu City

Okay so indeed you would have already known this is a dessert/cafe-ish place basing from other reviews.

What I would like to point out which is really good was their: carbonara. I don't know bout you but I love carbonara, and by far they excelled in my standards for a good carbonara appetite. I usually order it when I visit the place and enjoy the view of the city. They have this very relaxing ambiance and their classy interior design is superb.

I usually opt to hang out on the seats outside, as it gives me a very relaxing time to breathe in the good vibes of the place. I liked the area in total.

Place has been renovated and the interior has the quaint, minimalistic feel. Ordered Java Chip and Cafe Latte. The former is more or less 50% sweeter than what we usually get in Starbucks/Bo's, and much smaller in size for its price. Their Wintermelon Milk Tea is good enough, taste is similar to Bon Appetea and Jelly Citea. Tiramisu cake is spongey and very sweet.

They were understaffed when we visited on a Saturday evening, which is disappoiting since the place was packed. Asked for service water thrice, and even personally went inside so I could fetch it myself, but nothing arrived.

Place is intimate and private and offers good city view. Phone signal, esp LTE, is intermittent. Overall...

This coffee shop has a good ambience with contemporary design, which I think serves as a portfolio for their design studio also. They also have an outside garden dining area for those who prefer an open air sitting or for those who smokes. Mind you it's not the easiest coffee shop to go to because of it's location.

We could not help but feel this place was too expensive because of the quality of beverages being served. The iced chocolate was basically chocolate syrup on water and milk. The java chip shake had a powdery consistency. I think they're using the powdered...
