Soo far one of the best ramen shops on the city!! Be sure to be there early because they run out of supplies fast, I think it's my 3rd time trying to eat here because I always come late previously. If you're planning to dine here on a weekend might want to come here early. Generally you might want to avoid the entire area duting weekends on the evenings because of the volume of people wanting to dine out. Arrived here at around 4.30 pm on a friday and there's already a considerable number of diners already. Place is really nice, with a great view of Bohol strait. Parking is available but you must be on the south side of Il Corso so that you don't have to walk that far. Must suggest to be here at around late afternoons to early evenings to avoid the cebu heat since the place is outdoors. Most choices cost around Php 299, and service is actually fast but might depend on the number of orders. Prices are as posted on the pictures. Broth was very good! Must recommend their Hakata Tonkotsu, it's actually one of their best sellers. Serving was not that very big compared to other shops such as Akita but it is indeed a great value for the price! Easily one of the best and authentic tasting ramens here in cebu! Will definitely be back...
Read moreIf you are new to ramen and want to try it then Ramen Sage is definitely the place here in IL Corso Cebu City!
The Ramen are affordable for it's worth. The servings of the ramen is good enough for two persons.
Ambiance of the place is good, the service was okay. The food was decent. We ordered Tonkotsu Ramen, Gyoza, and Karaage Chicken.
Ramen Tonkotsu - 5/5: For someone who hasn't explored much Japanese ramen, this is definitely good. It has a very creamy taste and is quite fulfilling. It's a great noodle soup.
Karaage Chicken - 2/5: Nothing special, just chicken. The sauce doesn't complement the chicken much.
Gyoza - 3/5: Decent taste. I'm not new to Gyoza, and I can definitely say that the taste is okay. It's greasy, but despite that, I liked eating it.
Overall, I liked it here. The Tonkotsu Ramen carried, definitely made our visit...
Read moreI've been here like 3 or 4 times already and all I can say is that their ramen is definitely worth the wait. If you're looking for a more affordable ramen that's comparable to yushoken or mendokoro, then this is the place! But of course the meat and other ingredients are not as much coz hello you're like paying just half the price compared to those I've mentioned. I just love how they now have a thicker broth compared to my first visits so great job on that coz swear, ughhh never had a bad dinner here. Also, I really don't get those people complaining regarding the ambiance I mean it's just as stall and dining is al fresco so you don't expect that much comfort here. Hopefully they open a branch in the city coz it's one of the...
