I want to sit near to the door so I can enjoy the view but they sit us near the kitchen. The Ricos quality of Lechon that I know of for many years is no longer there. Or maybe its just a bad day. Crew sitting on the chairs with their phone on their hands. Like I have to call their attention. I think its common knowledge that 5pm to 8pm is dinner time busy on malls. Everything even the lechon takes too long... I don't know why the lechon itself is cooked anyway. Wrong drinks was served. I mean everything could be better. They have service charge on top of the bill, which I have no problem but please pace up. So far the weakest link on the restaurants on this entire stretch of IL Corso compared to Parilla, chickan, jonies etc. The mongo soup was not the same as the Quality Mr. Rico is serving us in Panagdait before.. you can taste some Magic Sarap or ginisa mix a really distasteful seasoning. You can be better than this. Please shape up! For a while. Maybe I will stick with CnT and House of Lechon these days. You've changed but not for the better. I'll check up on you...
Read moreThe food is so-so. If you wanna try Rico's for the sake of tasting the "best lechon in Cebu", and if money is not an issue, you can come to this place.
Decent serving but I have to say it is, overpriced. We came to have dinner but somehow we expected to have warm, juicy lechon but what we got was far from it.
The staff is nice, especially Ethan, he was attentive, and polite and does his job very well, we were so happy with his service; he almost did everything, from taking the orders and serving the food to customers. Good job, Ethan! So we're not sure if the branch in Il Corso is just understaffed (it almost became a one-man show) for this is the only Rico's branch that we've been to.
To end this review, is the food worth the price? NO. The only thing that made the experience pleasant was because of Ethan's service. You better keep him, he is an asset. And unfortunately, that would be my first and last...
Read moreBest Lechon baboy we eat this far. We are from Davao, and the lechons here are well. But the one from Rico was the first spicy one, the meat was tender, and real good hot! I did not need any soja sauce. Also the rosted cow was good. The service was not so far, even we are at this time the only customers (a big group was just leaving seconds before we enter), we need to wait 10 minutes for the first water, 15 or something like this for our order (the baboy is ready to eat in a front chamber! They only cut and serve!), and maybe 20 or more minutes for the ordered Ice tea. I fi read the other reviews, maybe there are much better places for lechon baboy around, but for us -as cebu beginners- it was a more than good start. We had 2 Lechon baboy before in Cebu, they are much worse than in Davao. So, Rico is the...
