The first thing as we entered Shakey's, the staff was not attentive to their customers. I kept waiting and waiting for their eyes to meet mine so I could ask where we could take our seat. After 2-3 minutes, I finally approached one of the staff members who gave us their menu. At 4:38, one of the staff members took our order. By 5:09, we were still waiting for our food and hoping for a staff member to pass by our table so we could ask for a follow-up, as our order had already been overdue for 40 minutes. After another 6 minutes, a staff member finally passed by our table, and I asked why our order was taking so long. The staff member informed us that there was a machine error in processing our order. They didn't even update us about the delay, leaving us waiting without any information. Finally, at 5:26, our order was complete. However, the glazed bacon pizza was too oily, and I would rate the Caesar salad a 3/10 and the wings and rings a 5/10 in terms of taste. We continued eating, trying to forget about the long wait for our order. But then, we had to wait again to get our bill. The wait was prolonged because they were short-staffed and not providing enough attention to all customers who needed service. We waited for 10 minutes to get their attention and request the bill, but then we had to wait again for the third time to receive our change. It was disappointing, as we waited and waited. Surprisingly, some customers who arrived later than us were served their food first. Furthermore, I would like to mention that the staff member who took our order had an attitude. The service was so bad that we weren't able to enjoy the food. My friend and I were trying to decide which dish to order when a waitress approached us to get our orders, since we weren't ready, we told her we're still trying to figure it out. She rolled her eyes, made a discontented clicking sound out of her tongue, and walked away. We didn't let it bother us since we were really hungry. Then, when we were done with the menu we called for the staff who passed by, and she said that there are designated waiters/waitresses to take everyone's order and that she'd call for ours. We said thanks and waited. After a while, a waiter approached us and took our orders. A few minutes then, he started serving us the food. He was almost throwing us the plates that contained our dishes. Just sliding them one after the other letting the surface of the table do all the work, like some sort of a conveyer belt. Everytime he does that my friend would say thank you to him, hoping he would change his attitude. I didn't like it. I watched him work with the other customers and he enjoyed serving the tables with girls gawking on him.
