Tablea Chocolate Cafe — Restaurant in Cebu City

Good little coffee shop what let's it down is the staff. Obviously not the owners as they don't manage seating very well. They allow people to sit on tables for many hours without purchasing products. Additionally they are inconsistent with portion sizes of cake cuts. I've been here 5 times and had 5 different sizes of the same cake. My experience is that if the cake is dry and older they give you a bigger slice. Order double shot expresso and it also was different size. Tables rock and staff sit behind counter like they are half asleep. Forget booking a table as the staff say they have no load to contact you even though the price of coffee and cake is very high. Mall has security but this coffee shop has its own entrance which presents a security risk to the entire centre and it also means lots of mosquitoes. If there was a better option I would not have returned because it's in a common Philippines street setting. Feel sorry for the owner as he is losing lots...

Talk about nostalgia at its finest! Lovely to bring our parents and grandparents here. It always lightens up their mood when treated with food very familiar for them with a more upscaled presentation and a more refined taste. My favorite here is the champorado. They have a special version where there’s peanut butter (great to try it, too!) but I’d like to go for the plain one (and cream). The bundt cake is to die for!
