Prestigio — Hotel in Cebu City

I went tonight at Prestigio Hotel (November 6, 2016) together with my friend to gave her Aunt a dinner who was check in at that Hotel but when me and my 2 friends are almost at the door the guard hold the door and open it with only 40 degree and ask what will we do there .My friend kindly said that she will just give her Aunt dinner they asked the room number and told my friend's Aunt is not at her room which is not a legit info. Coz my friend and her aunt was texting and her aunt said she's at Prestigious and we saw her aunt to get inside the hotel kasi they had a seminar to its next building . They didnt let us in they just get the food and place it at the information desk we went away and hold our temper pero inis na inis na kami deep inside dahil sa pag trato sa amin ng ganun like all of their staff was not even approachable and friendly so naghintay kami sa la as ha ang nag uusap sa kung paano sila mag treat ng customer and after us may mga foreigner na papunta din sa Hotel and then they widely open the door with greetings (ganito na ba talaga ngayon?! People will descriminate u ? People will not treat u better just because u have less? ) we had a tiring night during that night tapos pagpunta pa namin dun gaganunin lang kami ng staff nila thats very awful I highly dont recommend that Hotel to everyone Ive been at five star hotel at kahit naka Tshirt at short o tsenilas ka lang they treat all their customer right,even and with a good approach That was the worst staff of a Hotel I ever...

The location is accessible. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The room was just so very comfortable. It was just enough for you to roam around the room - the space you deserve. Very comfortable bed, super comfortable, I think I could sleep the whole duration of my stay. You would really have a good sleep. They have breakfast with pancake house - yummy! They have a refrigerator inside the room, the cabinet was fine with safety deposit box. The bathroom was very neat and have enough space - which is good, you don't feel suffocated inside the bathroom. Overall the room was clean, the corridors were also clean. but does not have good view though, you only have the street to look at and the adjacent building. They have snacks that you need to pay upon check out, if you're hungry you can just eat or drink what's in their snacks bar. They have wifi inside the room. The experience was super comfortable - although they need to put more oil on the wheel of their service cart for room cleaning - it makes noises when the staff roll it across the corridor. But that was just minor. Overall the experience was great! Good for business meetings when you need to stay overnight in the city or just have a peaceful getaway from the noise of the city...

I booked this hotel because of the 5 star clean sweep from the reviewers here on TA. I ended up staying 4 nights although I do wish I'd booked my extension via TA as it was 2000php a night over the counter, nevermind. I also got room 218 which is close to the balcony, handy if you're a smoker like me, and a comfy sofa just outside your door I sat in quite often as I have back issues. |On that, the bed is comfortable, the room is spacious and all facilities you want in a more expensive room is there. It is in a very busy part of JY square so if you're sensitive to street noise you may want to consider other options or make sure you get a room away from the street. |The staff are friendly and unobtrusive. |It is a little tricky to find for taxi drivers but let them know it's opposite Jolibee and you should be good to go. |Definitely recommended for a larger, clean, cheap room close to supermarkets and food outlets. Oh yeah down the lane between the supermarket and McDonalds is a 7-11. Handy if you like a beer in the room, or...
