People are quite blind for putting a 4-5 star on this spa. For my experience, ive been to many spas in my life time and honestly i was very very disappointed. First of all we entered the location, yeah yeah yeah cool design right?, But c'mon wheres the AC, here i was thinking that there was AC in the massage rooms But NO it did not, first of all you see at least 30 massage girls being piled waiting to be placed on job assignments, soo unprofessional. -we were placed in a seperate room but we had to walk back out because the rooms were soo hot; The AC was not even ON!! - Honestly it was sooooooo Unprepared. A spa should be prepared for their upcoming clients at all times. If you cant put up a spa that does not meet world class standards why the hell are you opening it. -- So and so, we started with our massage and the sense of energy was quite dry and not very welcoming, the massage was one of those quick terrible massages, i dont appreciate a one streak massage that is soo repetitive that i couldnt feel my own skin anymore. LIKE WHO THE HELL IS TRAINING THESE PEOPLE. -- it was fast, touchless, painful, & cheap. - i dont understand why paying 500 pesos for a foot massage is just foot massage, its like being placed right away without any warm ups like a quick hand massage and a nice dry back massage for a few seconds, its too quick and non-relaxing. 500 pesos was not worth of my time and money. - sorry but if i were you, please turn around and dont go to this place, what an...

I visited Tree Shades Spa last night with officemates and had mixed feelings about the experience. Upon arrival, I was hoping to be welcomed by the signature minty or lavender scent that most spas offerโ€”unfortunately, that calming aroma was missing.

I paid โ‚ฑ1600 for a two-hour massage. The spa has a distinctly Korean ambiance, though we were warmly greeted by Filipino masseurs. The โ€œatesโ€ were clearly well-trained, and I appreciated their professionalism. The massage rooms are divided by wooden and capiz-style partitions, and the lighting was warm and soothingโ€”just right for a relaxing atmosphere.

However, the experience was disrupted by the noise from neighboring clients who opted for hot stone massages. The clattering of stones was surprisingly loud, possibly due to their temperature or careless handling, which kept me awake throughout the session.

Thankfully, my assigned masseuse, Ate Vivian, was a standout. She delivered consistent and strong pressure throughout the massage, which I truly appreciated.

Compared to the spas I frequent in Manila, Tree Shades Spa falls short in ambiance and overall tranquility. While the staffโ€™s skill is commendable, the sensory experience and noise control need improvement. Overall, Iโ€™d rate it 2...

Worst spa experience ever. If you love your body never go to this place! Massage staff is not professional, very rough and rude. I had to repeat 5 times during the massage that I need it soft not hard. My massage โ€œmasterโ€ was chewing a gum all the time and did her job like โ€œwhateverโ€. She was throwing my legs and arms like it was some useless stuff and leant her body on me all the time she needed to reach for something. I felt disgusting and regretted many times that we booked 2 hours. We booked shiatsu massage but it was not even close to that. Staff really didnโ€™t know what theyโ€™re doing. They chatted all the time in Tagalog and didnโ€™t listen to anything we were saying. In the end we got bruises and my friend still has a terrible pain the back like he was beaten (this is not shiatsu and we asked them to do it soft). Weโ€™ve been to other spa salons in Mactan (ie. Arnika spa, Spa del mar) and the quality and professionalism were without any question. Again, nobody in this salon cares about you. Before the massage that donโ€™t even ask if your skin is sensitive or if you have some health problems. They also donโ€™t have any lockers for your belongings. Avoid this place if you donโ€™t want to be treated like a...

Loved the ambiance except that it got too crowded later that night. We walked-in past 5pm and was told that next available sched would be at 8:30pm. We had it reserved and grabbed dinner. We came back at 7-ish and told the front desk that itโ€™d be great if thereโ€™s an available room before 8:30 and the korean staff said next sched is at 10pm. So I had to explain that we have an 8:30 reservation and weโ€™re just waiting. An hour passed and I noticed that most korean guests even without reservations were catered the soonest time they walk in โ€” niether staff in the front desk didnt bother checking their logs, they were ushered to have their foot cleaned and ready for spa. But we waited anyway coz we really want to check this place. We were catered past 8:30pm and were told to follow the attendant in a room which we later found out was occupied so my friend and I just stood there and waited for instructions. The room was spacious, with T&B but you can hear the noise from the videoke outside. Massage was โ€” meh. Overall, too expensive for the services they offered. One-off thing.

The experience varies a lot according to the therapists. I went three times during my stay in Cebu. You can get discount if 20% off by checking in on FB or Instagram. Credit card will charge extra 10%. I suggest coming in earlier for the first time and you can go to it park or meal while waiting. Make next reservation before leaving the spa. First time, I ordered aroma+shiatsu. Most of the pressure was absorbed by the fluffy bed. I just felt lots of oil and the hand sliding on my body. The rough towel would scratch me when pressured. The second time, I ordered hot stone massage and itโ€™s amazing. The massage was gentle but firm. The therapist just pressured to the right point which would not lead to soreness but relieved. The third time, I went to hot stone massage again. However, the massage was hard, rough and sometimes reckless. The therapist would pour hot stones on the bed, place my body and lift the towel without care. It was nothing like previous time๐Ÿ˜ญ

Summary: Spa Environment - Typical Hygiene - Good Therapist - Excellent Comments: There is no response via WhatsApp, so do perform a WhatsApp Audio Call to make a reservation. There is also an outlet in Ayala Mall within the IT Park but is of a smaller scale with basic services. The environment is fine which is what was expected of a Spa. The therapist (named March) is experienced and able to pinpoint muscle knots and resolve them subsequently. Communication in simple English is ok but donโ€™t expect them to understand what you said. Many times I need to resort to hand signs and pointing to the parts where i need her to exert more strength. In conclusion, if you stay within the IT Park, the journey there might be taunting but well worth it. There are a lot of Koreans that visit the outlet as it is being managed by Koreans. Thank you.
