People are quite blind for putting a 4-5 star on this spa. For my experience, ive been to many spas in my life time and honestly i was very very disappointed. First of all we entered the location, yeah yeah yeah cool design right?, But c'mon wheres the AC, here i was thinking that there was AC in the massage rooms But NO it did not, first of all you see at least 30 massage girls being piled waiting to be placed on job assignments, soo unprofessional. -we were placed in a seperate room but we had to walk back out because the rooms were soo hot; The AC was not even ON!! - Honestly it was sooooooo Unprepared. A spa should be prepared for their upcoming clients at all times. If you cant put up a spa that does not meet world class standards why the hell are you opening it. -- So and so, we started with our massage and the sense of energy was quite dry and not very welcoming, the massage was one of those quick terrible massages, i dont appreciate a one streak massage that is soo repetitive that i couldnt feel my own skin anymore. LIKE WHO THE HELL IS TRAINING THESE PEOPLE. -- it was fast, touchless, painful, & cheap. - i dont understand why paying 500 pesos for a foot massage is just foot massage, its like being placed right away without any warm ups like a quick hand massage and a nice dry back massage for a few seconds, its too quick and non-relaxing. 500 pesos was not worth of my time and money. - sorry but if i were you, please turn around and dont go to this place, what an...
ย ย ย Read moreI visited Tree Shades Spa last night with officemates and had mixed feelings about the experience. Upon arrival, I was hoping to be welcomed by the signature minty or lavender scent that most spas offerโunfortunately, that calming aroma was missing.
I paid โฑ1600 for a two-hour massage. The spa has a distinctly Korean ambiance, though we were warmly greeted by Filipino masseurs. The โatesโ were clearly well-trained, and I appreciated their professionalism. The massage rooms are divided by wooden and capiz-style partitions, and the lighting was warm and soothingโjust right for a relaxing atmosphere.
However, the experience was disrupted by the noise from neighboring clients who opted for hot stone massages. The clattering of stones was surprisingly loud, possibly due to their temperature or careless handling, which kept me awake throughout the session.
Thankfully, my assigned masseuse, Ate Vivian, was a standout. She delivered consistent and strong pressure throughout the massage, which I truly appreciated.
Compared to the spas I frequent in Manila, Tree Shades Spa falls short in ambiance and overall tranquility. While the staffโs skill is commendable, the sensory experience and noise control need improvement. Overall, Iโd rate it 2...
ย ย ย Read moreWorst spa experience ever. If you love your body never go to this place! Massage staff is not professional, very rough and rude. I had to repeat 5 times during the massage that I need it soft not hard. My massage โmasterโ was chewing a gum all the time and did her job like โwhateverโ. She was throwing my legs and arms like it was some useless stuff and leant her body on me all the time she needed to reach for something. I felt disgusting and regretted many times that we booked 2 hours. We booked shiatsu massage but it was not even close to that. Staff really didnโt know what theyโre doing. They chatted all the time in Tagalog and didnโt listen to anything we were saying. In the end we got bruises and my friend still has a terrible pain the back like he was beaten (this is not shiatsu and we asked them to do it soft). Weโve been to other spa salons in Mactan (ie. Arnika spa, Spa del mar) and the quality and professionalism were without any question. Again, nobody in this salon cares about you. Before the massage that donโt even ask if your skin is sensitive or if you have some health problems. They also donโt have any lockers for your belongings. Avoid this place if you donโt want to be treated like a...
