After reading the reviews and as we were staying at the two seasons just a couple of doors away, my wife and I decided to go here for valentine's dinner. We walked in and waited by the door for someone to acknowledge us and seat us but after 8 minutes of being ignored, we asked a waiter for a table. He pointed at an empty table which was full of empty plates and said he would get it cleared for us.
We waited patiently but noticed 2 locals arrive and get seated straight away. Another 10 minutes later, another 4 locals arrived and they too were seated. I approached the counter and complained that we were still waiting for our table to be cleared so we could order food but were completely ignored.
I then kicked up a bit of a stink and eventually someone came to our table. They removed everything except an empty bread basket and an empty can of Sprite along with chunks of food on the table. We thought they would return to finish the job and bring us a menu but after another 10 minutes waiting and watching a dog eating food from under everyone's table, we gave up and left.
We were there a total of 45 minutes and disgusted with the way they treat their paying customers. It was clear that if you're not a local, they don't care. It was also shocking to have staff just walk off time and time again after asking them clear the table so we could sit and order.
If you're a tourist looking for a good meal, avoid this place. I'd recommend giving island brasserie...

After an unforgettable but exhausting first day of island hopping in the breathtaking waters of Coron, we were in serious need of a hearty and satisfying meal. Our van driver recommended Santino’s Grill—tucked away without a visible sign outside—but clearly well known by locals. And we’re so glad we found it!
The food was amazing. We ordered a mix of comfort and Filipino favorites: the classic carbonara, dynamite melt, crispy kangkong, sinigang na baboy, tuna salpicao, and their crispy pata—every dish was spot-on delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portions were generous. It hit the spot after a long, active day.
We enjoyed it so much that we went to their other location, Santino’s Rib Shack at Bam Bar, the next night. There, we tried the calamari, baby back ribs with seasoned fries and corn on the side—again, everything was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly.
A nice bonus? The owner was so welcoming and even took a photo with us both nights, making the experience feel even more special.
If you’re in Coron and looking for seriously good food after your island adventures, Santino’s is absolutely worth a...

Santino’s Grill offers incredibly delicious food—so heavenly that it’s hard to describe. Their servings are large, making every order worth it. The staff is accommodating, and the restaurant has a beautiful scenery.
However, when we visited, the place felt extremely congested, with little to no air circulation, making it uncomfortably hot. Their best-selling beef ribs were flavorful but disappointingly tough and not tender, making them difficult to cut and eat. We struggled with it so much that we ended up taking most of it home.
Another inconvenience was the lack of an accessible toilet. Guests have to cross the street to use a restroom. While that toilet was clean and acceptable, it was still inconvenient that the restaurant didn’t have its own.
On a positive note, the background music was at a comfortable volume, which we appreciated. Despite the cramped space and tough ribs, we still enjoyed the food and had a good experience overall. If they could improve ventilation and ensure their beef ribs are more tender, the dining experience would be...
