Tupi Cafe — Restaurant in Coron

I trust the positive reviews here but unfortunately, I didn’t share the same experience. We tried to go here for waffles a few days ago but their power had gone out and they were unable to offer waffles or coffee that day, which is no fault of their own, we understood that power outages were common here, so no worries.

We went to grab lunch here today, just after the lunch rush and after placing our order (two meals and two beverages), we went to grab a table. We were told that they were running a generator, which was why they weren’t able to run their A/C and despite sitting near a fan, it was uncomfortably hot. We waited for about 30 minutes and were becoming a bit impatient as we hadn’t yet received even our drinks (iced coffee and a juice), though we’d noticed that people who’d ordered after us had received their drinks (the same drinks that we’d ordered). After glancing over at the staff and reading their body language, it seemed as though it dawned on them that they’d forgotten our order and they quickly began preparing our drinks. They brought the drinks over to our table, and I noted that they also brought a plate of food out to another guest who had ordered several minutes after us.

I understand that different meals take different amounts of time to prepare and won’t always come out of the kitchen in the order that they were ordered, however, we both ordered fairly basic breakfast foods (waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit) and despite this, other guests received their drinks and food before us due to our order being forgotten. Mistakes happen, though waiting in a hot restaurant for a forgotten order wasn’t a great experience. The price point is reasonable compared to other similar...

Had my bday VL in Coron. On our first night (10/13) we were walking along the highway to look for a place for our dinner, when we found this little diner with cool interiors. Was supposed to order their spaghetti with grilled cheese but they politely said they can’t make it at that time and instead suggested the Mushroom Alfredo. My friend ordered Charlie Char pasta and both tasted delish! 👌🏼

Went there on our last dinner in Coron and the owner, they happily informed us that the spaghetti is finally available! 😆

Hmmm! Really really good food! Plus the Purple Honeylemon drink for the win!

It's a small cutesy quiet resto cafe located along the main road. We had our late dinner here with pasta and some fruit slushies. I appreciated the a/c since not all restos in Coron have one. Since there were no customers when we visited, we were able to enjoy the small couch to rest after a long island day tour while waiting for our orders.

The pasta was cooked al dente and the saltiness was in its right amount! 👌🏻 Best part is that the menu does not look overpriced to me compared to the other...
