AVOID BOOKING THIS HOTEL. My girlfriend and I decided to visit Coron for 3 nights and we stayed at the newly built 4.13 Suites. On arrival we was told that the room we had booked online, prior to arriving in Coron, had been given to someone else and we was given a smaller room with no window and we was told we had to move to a different room on our 3rd night. We wasn't offered any discount and we was told that the price for the smaller room with no window was the same as the Queen Suite we had payed for. This hotel also offers shared rooms much like a hostel which caused a lot of noise in the early hours of the morning to which the staff at the hotel did nothing about. On our 1st two nights there was no hot water and when I went to reception to inform the staff other rooms were complaining that there was no water at all in their rooms. We also experienced no water on the third night. On our second night I had a shower (cold) and then realised the cleaners had removed our towels and not provided clean ones. When my girlfriend went to reception to ask for towels she was told that they had been taken to be cleaned and we were given a small hand towel. I asked to meet the manager/owner and he did not apologise for any of the issues that I raised and offered a free breakfast for the next morning (we was leaving to catch a boat to El Nido at 7 am) and he said that he would not offer any form of compensation or refund. His attitude was terrible and showed a real lack of customer service and care for customer satisfaction. Value for money 1/10 Staff helpfulness 2/10 Recommend to a friend: Never This hotel and it's owner ruined our Coron experience and it was extremely over priced. Do not make the same mistake we did...
Read moreAVOID AT ALL COSTS. MY husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and arrived late on the first day after much travel from Canada to Manila to flight delays to get to Coron, Palawan. We went to bed early our first night, didn't even get dinner and awoke to the sounds of water dripping. It ended up being from the bathroom, from the ceiling. We were so tired that we slept right through it as we had a very early boat tour start time of 7:00am to visit multiple islands and spots the next day. By the 2nd night there, all we wanted to do was use the bathroom after dinner but unfortunately the leaking of water was coming down and hitting where the toilet was which made it impossible for us to use. We advised the hotel of the bathroom issue and mentioned that we had the same issue the night prior. By the next morning when we went to check-out, we were not only told that our deposit return of a couple hundred Canadian dollars = $11,500 PHP would NOT be returned but also accused of making this damage and story up then also threatened that we would be arrested and forever banned from all of Philippines by the "owner" of the hotel and his hotel staff as they entered the room in a group of 3-4 coming in and out of the room.
THIS COMPLETELY RUINED OUR HOLIDAYS, OUR EXPERIENCE AND EVER GOING BACK TO CORON. The owner should not own a hotel, be so accusatory and deal in customer service at all. We wore spoken to like criminals in such a condescending...
