We decided to have dinner at Botejyu and ordered several chicken ramen dishes, only to find out they weren’t available. In fact, most of the items on the menu were unavailable. One of the waiters assisted us, but his attitude was very sarcastic. He wasn’t friendly or approachable and failed to inform us upfront about the unavailable items. Instead, he simply waited for us to place our orders and repeatedly said, "not available." He didn’t bother to suggest alternatives or tell us what was available.
Moreover, he wasn’t attentive to our requests. We initially ordered one lemonade, one iced tea, and one grape juice. My friend then canceled the grape juice and asked for another iced tea. I clearly instructed him to bring two iced teas and one lemonade. However, he still served one iced tea, one lemonade, and one grape juice. When we pointed out the mistake, he claimed he had repeated the order correctly.
Overall, his attitude was unprofessional. He seemed annoyed and sarcastic, which is unacceptable for someone in customer service. As a waiter, you should be friendly and approachable, someone customers feel comfortable interacting with. You could even recommend alternatives when items are unavailable. Unfortunately, this waiter was the opposite, and we were quite disappointed with how he treated us.
I did take a photo for him, Anyways, Thank you Botejyu, for the dinner, but it was disappointing to find that so many items were unavailable. We ordered what we could because we were very hungry. This experience was not like the Boteju we...
Read moreFirst of all we ate here before the more close. The interior design is good but I think it doesn't have that japanese vibe. The food is okay but it's not that great. I still prefer "Ippudo" when it comes to ramen. Their ramen was good the soup is thick, rich and tasty. However for the noodles they don't have option for you to pick which type of you prefer and for the serving size?. Well it's not to small nor not too big its just right. Their Okonomiyaki is taste good but there's too much ginger on it and it's a litte bit dry. For the Beef Curry it's not worth the price serving is too small, there's not much beef on it maybe it should be called Onion with beef curry since its more onion than beef. And lastly the staff, they greet and smile a lot and...
Read moreGood portions at a reasonable price. However the presentation and taste are not up to the standard set by other Japanese restaurants. The grilled gyoza (frozen) was burned and very thin. The seafood salad was overall okay but the sashimi pièces were small and not marinated. The salad sauce was watery and doesn't serve the sashimi well. The chicken teriyaki salad was okay but the sauce watery and not really good for the chicken. Others on our table had rice bowls and they seemed to be happy about their orders. Service tea (for a fee) is good. Much better than Tokyo Tokyo for example but I would not feel comfortable inviting guests here. Just okay for a quick bite. The staff is nice though but not super...
